Win or lose it was a fun season to watch.

Fighting Hawks saving the big 10 plus point lead for after halftime this game.

Hope to see them all packed in like sardines, and swaying in unison like last time.

Hard to say...could be in Minneapolis being 1.000 or .666 on the last home weekend of the year. Being in Minneapolis also means guaranteed to play two games...and you don't know who the opponents are quite yet (moreso the second game). The pairwise doesn't matter if you go win Friday and lose Saturday or lose Saturday and win Friday. Not to mention what could happen to the other teams on the bubble. This late in the season UND can't do much to move up. Just hope to solidify the spot as right now UND is basically tied for tenth in the Pairwise and could fall easily if they go 1-2 or 1-3.

Didn't pay that close attention to know those were the days of the tournament. Might not be the "Final Five of UND basketball" I was hoping for. Just move it to this weekend and bump off the MAC Championship on ESPN2 or the Big Sky Finals on ESPNU (Teams with existing ESPN contracts get first dibs amirite).

(and five of the other nine teams UND has been playing in one sport or another for years) This could be a good way to help grow basketball in Grand Forks and could become the "WCHA Final Five" of UND college basketball that so many of the hockey fans enjoyed. The Summit Championship is on ESPN2 vs the Big Sky on ESPNU. I believe this league could someday rival the Missouri Valley.

Don't remember the exact wording but when Idaho joined the Big Sky they put it in the contract that if North Dakota or Montana (and or MSU) left the conference so could Idaho without penalty. (Which means they saw UND as one of the most valuable assets to the conference.)

Some are now sad to see UND leave now. I randomly browsed the weber state board the other day and that was what I read. And because UND is leaving the conference. Idaho is free to now too.
