  1. You'll enjoy the upgrades they have already done to the Target Center.
  2. Sicatoka got me thinking. I'd almost rather be a 16 seed than a 15 just to have the opportunity to be the first team to win a game as a 16 and make March Madness history.
  3. Remember when you thought UND wouldn't be able to compete in Division I in any sport but football, and only Winona State and not UND could win a d2 basketball championship.
  4. Without a doubt if UND made the Sweet 16 it'd be the biggest story in North Dakota athletics history.
  5. Speaking of Icon, the rumor is the women's hockey team is going to play there next year (if they have a team).
  6. Yup NCHC twitter said official times will be released tomorrow morning.
  7. Not if the goal is to make the dance (which from the comments these past few days all that really matters anyways). One more regular season championship in the Big Sky for Jones and they'll be tied there too.
  8. Its a short clip but you can see it on twitter...also can see the team arriving at the airport.
  9. Yes both have made the dance once. Brewster made the dance at home. League changed the rules afterwards and Jones had to win at Neutral site. Minus those seasons... Jones has been in the championship game and the semifinals twice. Brewster has not played in the championship game and only made the semifinals once. When not reaching the goal...Jones has shown he's more capable than Brewster at getting closer to it.
  10. I'll say it again....if the goal is to reach the dance. Brian Jones has done a better job over the years than Travis Brewster.
  11. Took UND only five years what Northwestern just finally did.
  12. Tom Millers twitter had the NCAA website to watch it online. Even though its a little late posting this. http://www.ncaa.com/march-madness-live/watch
  13. Yeah all under the bridge now. I get what they are trying to say. All Good. Go SiouxHawks. (I edited to more clearly reflect).
  14. I'm saying that's not how statistics work. You don't add the AL and the AQ. They can and are mutually exclusive. DU does not have a 51% chance to get an at large bid right now. ....I just find it funny if DU losses the semifinal game on Friday their 51% chance at an at large bid jumps to 100%. I get what they are trying to say now.
  15. Take Providence for example....rated below UND is the pairwise, but according to CHN has a greater chance to be in the tournament than UND....87% vs 99% Huh? Providence has a 99% chance to be in the national tournament?! LOL
  16. Say both lose in the tournament meaning the AQ Column is automatically meaningless....then the only column left is to look at is the "at large" column. Lowell according to the CHN app says has a greater chance than DU; 80% vs 51% chance at an at large bid. But if they both lose in AQ, CHN will update the AL column to more accurately reflect, and those number will switch to DU having a higher percent chance than Lowell. Just horrible semantics on their part.
  17. Huh? You really think Umass Lowell has a higher chance at an at large bid than Denver?
  18. with two play in games recently added its become harder for it to happen though.
  19. Which is not how you do statistics. The CHN says Denver has only a 51% chance at large (AL) bid...(which is obviously wrong.) vs Umass-Lowells 80% chance of an at large bid...yeah okay.
  20. Because No NCAA MBB #1 seed has lost their opening game to a #16.
  21. It's like having #16 Holy Cross avoid playing #1 Minnesota in the first game of the NCAA Mens Hockey Tournament....
