    Discussion of what happened this morning at Walmart in Grand Forks is timely and worthy of a thread in this forum. Making light of the situation, when family members probably haven't been notified yet, much less have any idea of the circumstances, is untimely at best.

    Uh, a nickname should be unifying per the committee's own criteria. Didn't we just come from an allegedly "divisive" name and now we should pick something that each person "could project their own meaning on to" ... good or bad. That in itself is divisive, not unifying.
