  1. Sundogs was terrible long before BRIDGES. They just sealed the coffin.
  2. So ... you're thinking someone's going to make a Coaches Club level donation ($1350) and then sell the prime perk of that club level (parking) to you for less than 1/3 the price they paid.
  3. Who you kidding? That could be a defensive barn-burner!
  4. Uh ... new here? Sundogs was first rolled out by the most PC group on campus, BRIDGES, i.e. the group that drove the name change in the first place.
  5. Hockey's Cap still lists Kristo as a non-roster player.
  6. Holy random speculation ...
  7. About a week to the exhibition opener. Somebody go and ring the bell.
  8. They are breaking the law ...
  9. I happened across the mother of a new Force player recently. (The HoneyBaked jacket gave her away.) She said her son had been on a line with Cakebread during camp and was pretty surprised Cakebread was cut loose. She said her son figured it was part of a "new sheriff in town" movement.
  10. I see "cease and desist" in someone's future.
  11. AE2S EAPC Alerus
  12. I have no problem with The Forum putting how UND Football handles shoplifters at the top of their sports page for everyone to see.
  13. Do they sell bicep bands at Best Buy?
  14. I think that's been part of the UND implementation of the 3-4 scheme from the beginning, whether it was Lennon under RT, or Bubba under Lennon, or Schmidt under Bubba.
  15. mj23: Constructive criticism is fine. I have no problem with differing opinions. Other folks see red when an "outsider" is here. As long as that "outsider" understands they are a guest in the house (and goes by house rules) I'm quite sure the board administrator or moderation team (yeah, I'm one) has no concerns. What is troubling is your need to nudge right up to using obscenities. Look back thought your last dozen or so posts. You'll see what I mean. You don't need to game the system like that. That's my constructive criticism.
  16. Given that the BSC does not sponsor M/W hockey, M/W S&D, or baseball, but UND does have a conference for those, who knew? Thank you for that information. Now scurry back to your other gig.
  17. Schlossman has a UMD Bulldog fetish. The smart money is there.
  18. What decade was that again? It had to be said. An FCS team should have an FCS defense (check) and an FCS offense ( waiting ... ).
  19. Travel pairs for M/WBB: Ux/xSU (three times); UI/EWU; UNC/DU; UNO/UMKC
  20. Alumni (see: ScottM, me, et al) will use their "on file" email address with the UND Alumni Association. That's how they got that email to ScottM in the first place.
  21. I'll say comparison is not the solution. Is the UND football team as good as they can be right now? Are they performing to the level that they expect ... of themselves. When every guy on the team can answer "yes" and it shows, then you start comparing outside.
  22. Over time logos change is probably part of the reasoning.
  23. bison73: If you believe what you've been told, toss a bone to the Herald, or the Forum, or even Rob Port. Do it anonymously if need be. But do it. I'll hang up and listen.
  24. The UND offense is predictable. There. I said it. The offense Roger Thomas ran is alive and well under Bubba. Nothing has changed. Thomas, Lennon, Mussman, Schweigert. Yeah, Mussman too. Mussman's was the same play book as the rest, but running exclusively what Lennon would run down 10+ points. Don't believe me? First down? B gap left. Second and eight. Thomas era; Lennon era; Mussman era (out of the pistol); now Schweigert era. When your offense is predictable it's easy to predict (Capt. Obvious) and defend. Toss in a porous offensive line and it's a disaster. If you want to play FCS ball, you need an FCS offense, not a rehashed DII offense. To play FCS ball you have to be serious about recruiting and developing offensive linemen that just might be able to play on Sunday. Our offensive line still looked, played, and reacted slow, like a DII line. Sure, we want to be big and mean and plow, but you need to also be fast at the FCS level or you'll get beat through the gaps and around the outside too (see: Saturday). If we're going to be FCS let's start thinking FCS and playing like FCS. That starts up front.
