So you're saying they could have really used ... "... a quality loss ... " (c)UNI Somebody had to say it. -
They did ... by not raising prices.

I like your words, but unless you can tell me this year's "Stogies, Scotch, and Smoke-filled Room" selection committee admittance password (to the backroom at the BreakWind, um ..., WindBreak, at the Fargo Flying J*) I'm not believing until Sunday morning and the release of the bracket. *defending champion always hosts the smoke-filled room selection committee meeting in a most glorious locale -
Earl Weaver looks down from above and smirks.

I get the frustration and the desire to play, but it's too late to get MoState to GF for Saturday. Honestly, it was too late at noon Monday. MoState has done no prep; they probably have been doing light drills and little contact this week knowing no game. It would not be fair to them on Wednesday night to tell them be in GF for a game Saturday afternoon. Put the blame where it goes: if YSU was going to bail they should've said so noon Sunday. If YSU had done that, it would be up to the MVFC and fair to both teams should the league reschedule MoState @ UND. That said, there's no way knowing if the MVFC would've done the reschedule. My guess is they would not have. Why? Should UND lose at home the MVFC probably only gets two teams in; this way three teams in the playoffs is more likely.

Last time we had that much time between games we won four in a row.

Looks like the one-transfer (with no sit-out year) rule, and the transfer portal, are becoming the new reality right about now.

Good grief ...

WMU may have just become the pre-season favorite.

It's almost like it aligns to enrollment or alumni populations. Whodathunkit.

The experience being brought in was surprising. The historic scoring is a bonus (because I'm not sure it translates across conferences). -
Serving the leftovers from Amherst?

No, like it or not, FCS is controlled by NDSU right now and their version of the %gobc meets at the Breakwind* at the F'n J in Fargo. When Bubba overthrows that regime it'll move to the Long Haul. Until then, it is what it is. *It's really WindBreak but my way seems more accurate. -

... decides everything regarding the bracketing. Welcome to the true land of "Stogies, Scotch, and Smoke-filled Back Rooms". -
The mask adjustment at 3:30 is great.

For those of you who didn't get it, just highlight (click/hold and sweep your mouse over) all the words in that post and the answers appear like magic! (That doesn't work on an iPhone when I tried it.) -

Goalies are strange critters: One day they are "like sieve" and the next day they're a stone wall because something just clicked. For some it never happens; for others it happens in reverse.
