  1. Stay in Omaha. It's 60 miles.
  2. Actual balance sheet assets, I'd say no they haven't, but they're close, because of their deferred commitments and outstanding revocable pledges to come in. (As jdub said, they don't have $85M plus $143M actually in hand yet.) Look at UND AAF actual data (2021 auditor's report) and UND has over $500M in actual assets under management. You can't list pledges or promises on a balance sheet or audit report so the auditor's report is real money (well, as real as any balance sheet is when you're talking investments). You can list money under management that has donor stipulations (because you carry the asset, not a promise).
  3. Well, that took nine seconds of effort ... https://undalumni.org/financials-reports
  4. Since @gfhockey seems interested ... Here's the accounting of the NDSU drive: What catches my eye is the $146M of pledges (not in hand yet) and $143M of revocable deferred commitments. That's almost $290M (49%) of money promised, but not yet delivered, of the $586M. Is that a normal, usual, ratio for a campaign like this?
  5. These two are eight and nine in KRACH. I think it'll come down to health and who can (is available to) go.
  6. And the defenseman from WMU.
  7. BU head coach looks like “probey” McGee on NCIS to me.
  8. BU wins on a late goal 1-0. And they celebrate like they won the Stanley Cup … uh … oh-kay …
  9. BU and Northeastern playing Beanpot final on NHL Network. No score late in the second.
  10. What is the official remaining eligibility on Jandric, Calder, and Ferner? And Senden and Hain are potential Covid super seniors. Ford and Driscoll will be gone (eligibility). I don't see Senden and Hain staying. Sanderson is surely gone. If Jandric has one more year and stays it might be just bring in one recruiting pipeline defender to replace Sanderson. Bring in Hedquist for Driscoll. I'm not sure they'd look portal even for forwards given the pipeline (Strinden, Blake, McLaughlin, James, Spicer).
  11. Good call on playing last year translating to success this year. I'm interested in next year and comparing teams that kept "super seniors" over bringing in freshmen versus teams that stayed more "pipeline". I'd put SCSU, WMU in the super senior category. Both of them will be really young next season.
  12. I'd argue WMU and UNO will decide the #PenneRosa. Each plays both DU and UND to close out the season.
  13. I'd call that a nomination for NCHC Defenseman of the Week. And honestly, allowing 2 PPG on the weekend, and pitching a shutout is a nomination for Driscoll.
  14. If anything, the review should've been for checking from behind against CC because they did hit Kleven square in the ol' 2-5. Now the fact that you bounced off and got hurt because hitting 25 is like hitting a wall is not 25's fault.
  15. Additional observations: - any combo of 8 points gained by UND or lost by SCSU gets UND home ice - any combo of 12 points gained by UND or lost by UMD guarantees UND finishes ahead of UMD <-- BIG series this weekend ...
  16. I say if you ask for a review (see Friday v CC) and there is no penalty you shouldn't just lose your TO, it should also be a bench minor.
  17. To prevent a team from ever playing the Super Bowl in their home stadium ever again, ... the NFL announced today that all future Super Bowls will be played in US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
  18. Correct. Their camera ops need to go back to filter school.
  19. I’m yet to find someone willing to explain the discrepancy.
  20. Be sure to look “Read the full conversation on Twitter” to see “Not a suspension”.
  21. BC, UNH, and Maine all near one end of the HEA standings ... the bottom end. This ain't the 1990s no more I guess. https://www.collegehockeynews.com/reports/conf/Hockey-East/5
  22. Standings: DU 18 41 UND 18 39 WMU 18 34 UMD 17 29 SCSU 17 25 UNO 18 19 CC 18 14 Miami 18 12 Observations: - The CC/Miami series this weekend will probably decide 7/8. - WMU lost control of their #PenneRosa destiny with their weekend performance - UMD and SCSU still have 9 points to settle between them; it gives SCSU hope of home ice - UNO has closes out with six at home, and will probably have a say in who hoists #PenneRosa given the schedule
  23. As they say in racing ... DOWN THE STRETCH THEY COME! What's left? UMD and SCSU have 7 left, rest have 6. Team (H/R): schedule DU (1/5): @WMU, @UNO, @/H CC UND (2/4): @UMD, WMU, @UNO WMU (4/2): DU, @UND, Miami UMD (4/3): UND, @SCSU(1), @Miami, SCSU SCSU (3/4): @UNO, UMD(1), CC, @UMD UNO (6/0): SCSU, DU, UND CC (3/3): Miami, @SCSU, H/@ DU Miami (2/4): @CC, UMD, @WMU
  24. The inquiry should come on UND Athletic Department letterhead signed by the AD and co-signed by Berry. "Uncle Andy's" initials by the AD's signature, as an acknowledgement by 300 Twamley that the letter was sent, would be a nice touch.
