Enrollment doesn't lie.

My pure guess: - They could have the softball field done for spring 2024. A field and grandstand is not a strenuous project. - They'd start on MVII after MVI was completed, or as each phase completes (steel, concrete, HVAC/elec/plumb, finish work). It'd make a lot of sense. All the trades to build apartments are already "there" (half a block away). If you've worked with contractors you know 1/3 the price is set up, 1/3 is the work, 1/3 is tear down. Get a second "work" in for the setup/teardown costs and the price gets better.

He's bounced around too much lately. He hasn't stuck anywhere. The red flag inched further up the pole with this. This NDSU gig better be sticky for him; that, or he needs to be studying for his insurance sales license on the side.

So UND poached him from SIU and WIU?

2022-23 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
The Sicatoka replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
This calendar year Miami has played six games and scored two goals (and one of those was a PPG v UND in garbage time). Even terrible offenses should muster two GPG on average. Miami is short ten goals by that standard. Here's hoping they find them in St. Cloud. PS - Miami's remaining is brutal: SCSU, Omaha, UMD, WMU. -
Pierre left on good terms (to law school at UND). He's a portal entrant I'd consider taking back, and apparently so will the coaches.

Magic 8 Ball says: Don't bet against it. I could see Toews in WPG, VGK, or COL.

Someone not picking up the project, or FuFeng not going somewhere else, would each be "tells".

One more thought: When a potential adversary is doing something so obvious and overt ... why? Because it's a distraction to what else they're doing.

If you don't know China has satellite capabilities and electronic interception capabilities as good or better than the US you've not been paying attention. They didn't need an antenna at a corn plant to spy on GFAFB. ... or a balloon over Montana. They can sit up in geosynchronous orbit and listen and watch all day. The next obvious question is Cirrus ... owned by a subsidiary of the Chinese government-owned AVIC.

We know what TB12 said. I still think he'll be starting QB for a Pacific time zone team this fall.

AM 1100 The Flag reporting Dunn's passing also. Over the Christmas break Dunn did some TV work with Jody Norstadt and Midco covering HS games at the tournament held at The Lights in West Fargo. For two guys that had never worked together they were smooth. It's a compliment to professionalism to both. Dunn will be missed on UND and KFGO. Condolences to his friends and family.

He was in the December signings (28 players).

Interesting that Head's school tweeted that. His personal Twitter? ... https://twitter.com/AmariHead Or it could be as simple as ... "paperwork" ...
-
He should've walked away with Trophy #7 and been done. Peyton Manning, John Elway, and even Bunny HC Stig were smarter on that one: go out on top.

West coast kid stays on west coast. Shocking.

Anecdotal but just the same ... Where I worked out east had what they called the "400/400" statistic. If they hired someone who was either (a) more than 400 miles from what they called their home town, or (b) 400 miles from where they went to college, their five years of employment rate was under 20%, meaning most folks would come, and leave in under five years. I suspect there are similar statistics out there for transfers.

It'll just mean Fargo finished their glass-dome-over-the-city project first.* *Is it to keep people out, or in.

As I look at -21F on my thermometer (wind chill -41F), I can admit climate does not work in UND's favor. The best bet to get players to UND is players from this climate. But this climate does not produce top DI MBB talent like more temperate regions.

Last week I figured SF off-season as: make Purdy QB1, let Jimmy G go, and shop/trade Lance; then, go pick up a serviceable cheap vet backup (short term, 1-2 years) and draft a QB (develop long term, 2+ years). Right now? I'd say SF's QB notions are on hold for two weeks to get some testing and evaluation on Purdy's arm. The five year plan may have changed in five seconds yesterday.

Zegras is going to chirp to the wrong guy one day. Pat Maroon and Ryan Reeves are good listeners and better amateur dentists.

After video review, the answer is … Louis the V.

4-5-6-7th goals Blake - McLaughlin - Strinden - James Has it ever happened where all the freshman forwards score in a game, and in succession no less.
