  1. "UND would not have gotten smacked like all these fools." I'm forced to agree. Based on this season's performance UND would not have been smacked like all those fools. It would've been worse. PWR 11 and 12 each lost by 4. PWR 14 lost by 5. PWR 25 lost by 10. UND was PWR 19.
  2. It's so "ish" that I want to curse.
  3. The B1G has just invited you to join their conference call.
  4. Slim and none. And here's Slim leaving town.
  5. I'll tolerate that trio if they are the "three" of a "top nine - bottom three" forwards alignment, instead of the traditional "top six - bottom six".
  6. At Miami x2, last game at Omaha.
  7. Minnesota, PSU, OSU, Michigan <- At least two of them score 5 or more goals in regional finals.
  8. Does our coaching staff have the balls to play like we've seen the B1G play during the last 48 hours? B1G teams got a three goal lead and pulled the stops, threw open the throttles, and went 8, no, 8, no, 9, no, 11! UND plays from the "Lennon-Schweigert-Berry" mindset: Get up two scores and "manage" your way to victory. Notice has been served; that game is gone. UND needs to see, realize, learn, and act. Speed kills. Defensive responsibility now means the puck on your stick in the offensive zone or busting ass to reacquire the puck. "Managing" a lead is dead. And most importantly, dismantling an opponent is not only acceptable, it's now expected. Michigan had PP1 out with an eight-goal lead in the third. Berry puts out the fourth line for a PP with a three goal lead in the third. Frankly, ... no, no longer acceptable. Mercy died this weekend. The mindset going forward must be kill shot, then as many as you can hang on the board. When the team wins by 7, the question must be: why not 8 or 10. Can Berry coach that? Does he have the stones to do that? If he's too nice for that I can find someone who'll play by the new rules. (Same for Schweigert.) So can Berry do it? He'd better; I know at least four coaches that'd do it to him in a heartbeat after this NCAA opening round. New Rules, and they don't include "managing" leads or mercy.
  9. Why not. I'm realizing that we are running with the mindset of the "Lennon-Schweigert-Berry" school of thought: Get a two score lead and "manage" it to a victory. That mindset died the last 36 hours ... or you'll be killed by it. 9, 8, 8, then 11. Berry's normal is get up two, manage it to victory. The new normal is get up two and play to be up five. How many times this year did UND give up a goal in the first five of the third and then end up not in a good way? Michigan gave up a goal in the first five of the third last night and it made it 8-1 ... so they stuck it 11-1 as a message.
  10. 6-0 … they ain’t putting that back in the tube.
  11. That escalated quickly …
  12. 8-0 That’s a reaction and the score.
  13. One seed Denver on line one for you.
  14. 95 seconds, a double tap.
  15. I swear the Q/MC camera operator hails from Omaha. That’s not a compliment.
  16. If 28 could be the seventh top six forward, the guy you spot up when a group is struggling, that’d be a great role. Wes Dorey was that role in 2000.
  17. Fifth? I could run three and be done.
  18. I walk out to get the Mail and you let PSU score. I can’t leave you in charge can I ? That you is all of you.
  19. Alternatively, Gaber seems too emotional (emotions running him) at times.
  20. Retain a goalie, a defenseman, and 12 or 13 forwards. Yeesh .... The C that would've landed on Frisch's sweater now lands ... I'd put it on Judd as a reminder he needs to play and lead. Leave an A on Gaber. Hang an A on LouieJam. I'd stop there but would take calls from Schmaltz supporters.
  21. Running time?
  22. NOW the day is over.
