    Rewatching the games, I noticed how "clumsy" SCSU was in open ice ... namely around Frisch and behind the play. After he'd move a puck up they seemed to make a late wide-swing turn with their head the other way and ended up "accidentally" bumping Frisch. Strangely, they "accidentally" bumped Frisch more than the other UND D combined. And a few of the "bumps" were at speeds to knock him down. I'm surprised the officials didn't pick up on that ... or not.

    So Heins was just a decoy. After not running a route for the fourth or so time wouldn't the defense pick up on that?

    And when he does he turns over possession inordinately. And the bad habit rubs off on 9. Thus my comment in the Friday game thread that 17 nets out negative and I'd be OK if he signed. YMMV.

    Jackson Kunz, 16 games, 4 goals, and I'm pretty sure the four shots haven't traveled a total of 40 feet. Big man; net front; buries the garbage. Pretty simple formula. And we need more of it.

    That confused me. Honestly, 29 and 18 had more to prove and had good weekends. Positive sign.

    This weekend it was glaringly in focus: 10-19-13 play slow. Even 27 did not look out of place with 26 and 29 and 20 skating fast. 18 and 22 with 17 can scoot. Even 8/9/28 were playing faster.

    Good news @Speez! My sources have informed me that the State tourney broadcaster has hired a camera op, a professional with much on-camera experience. Yes, they've hired The Trunk Monkey! They got him by promising all the banana daquiris he could drink from noon Thursday until a champion is awarded the trophy. We're sure to have better camera work than we had for EDC. What could go wrong?

    Playing ASU should be a W and that helps winning percent which helps PWR. Winning solves problems.
