I'd say page 8, item 2 of this would be a tell.

Carson Wentz taking Philly err Indy err DC by storm

Coincidence. COINCIDENCE! -
Emmert sure left a nice pile for his successor. Drive a gun to a murder then make light of it in pre-game? https://nypost.com/2023/02/25/brandon-miller-pretends-to-be-frisked-amid-alabama-shooting-controversy/ Drag race and kill a teammate and a coach? https://www.foxnews.com/sports/georgia-football-player-devin-willock-staff-member-chandler-lecroy-killed-car-crash

And it's not his fault he and Prince Harry are doppelgangers. But it is funny. -
If this team went on a season-ending seven game* heater ... *It's not eight, it's seven: game three + two at Final Five + four NCAA = seven
-
... it's not for you. It's more a Shelbyville idea.

Just moved about a foot of that crap off my drive. The four foot drift was a nice feature. As least it's dry and light; get it up in the wind and it's gone ... for now.

For the most part they are plausible: - dry dirt in the fall - empty lakes and rivers now - last rounds of snow have been low moisture content - been catching some 30 degree days to take some of the edge off before spring melt Even this blast is low moisture content.

NDUS Budget Cuts (changed name to be system-wide)
The Sicatoka replied to Cratter's topic in Community
Like Cook says, "the Legislature has reached the “cross-over” phase, where bills pass to the other chamber of legislature for further consideration" And often cross-over is where bills are left to die. At $1,500,000,000 overspent at crossover, there's a reckoning coming. -

Mayville and Hillsboro have their climate domes built ... but no monorails.

NDUS Budget Cuts (changed name to be system-wide)

In the middle of program cuts and faculty layoffs they are looking for three new deans for their seven, no, wait, now just five colleges? And soon a provost too. Their "strategic investments" seem, well, in Cook's words "Additional investments will be dependent upon the result of the legislative process." Having spent a little time schmoozing state leaders and legislators in Bismarck the last couple weeks, that's a tough climb. As one western legislator told me quaintly, everyone has a tin cup out but there's only so much money. Going for more money when what you previously were given was not managed well doesn't help NDSU's or any NDUS school's case. I saw more willingness to fund state infrastructure projects (water*) than higher ed right now. The issue of child care around the state seems more in focus also. (Child care is a direct impact on workforce in small towns, and workforce was much heard also.) *New ND Rep (former Gate City CEO and NDSU fundraiser) Steve Swiontek, R-Dist 10, was more interested in talking water projects and electricity than higher ed. -

The latest from President Cook at NDSU ... So much in there to unpack. -

What's his definition of a "low major"? Willing to bet it's not the same as mine.

If we're allow wild speculation, how do I know that the old DC didn't leave because the safeties coach was better on the radios on gameday (meaning calls and schemes) and the HC saw it and the old DC saw the handwriting on the wall. We know what we see publicly. That is seldom the whole story.

I still say the best OL Wentz played behind in his football career was likely in Fargo. The OLs he played behind had a huge impact <-- key word. -
It's been out on that (linked) website for nearly a decade and nothin'. But I will admit that Steve Kouleas* learned about it recently. *Yeah, Koul and the Gang on NHL on SiriusXM

With engineering, math, physics, and chemistry all within about 500 feet that site has long been coveted by the STEM programs. Not sure if they're thinking classrooms or labs or combination. UND would be wise to see what NDSU did with AG Hill and Sugihara Halls and do more and better.
