  1. Well on that link is how you can host an event, like Gaukler or Poolman. Show us how it's done. (I was invited to Poolman's by ... UND. Gasp!)
  2. I'm sure these events put them on by themselves. https://undalumni.org/events/index.html
  3. Let's put names out there and see if you hold to that POV. I look at UNDAA&F development* staff and I see** former UND ... Football 2 (Mannausau, Belmore) MBB 1 (Brekke) WBB 1 (Sussex) Baseball 1 (Dodson coached) Hockey 1 (C Sanderson) Looks like 5 to 1 other sports to hockey, and two football guys. Give Mike or Tim a call and tell them they're clueless about UND Football. And remind them they aren't doing enough. Or are you saying Coltyn Sanderson is outworking five people***? *The money-askers **I may have missed someone ***In the corner for a puck I might believe it
  4. Butters (Blais' pal) retired. Other schools figured out how to read a map to Faribault.
  5. You mean Shattuck-St. Mary's?
  6. The Twins are lucky to have unloaded a guy who's gone 5-for-5 three times and is hitting 0.400 as of last night's 5-for-5. Who needs that in a lineup. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/35491193/sources-marlins-acquire-all-star-luis-arraez-trade-twins
  7. Sweet Mother o' Mercy! ... is that ... Walsh!?!?! That looks like the north wall of Squires in the background.
  8. From a building with a bunch of rooms where people sleep to a building with a bunch of rooms where people sleep. I'll take a leap and guess there's city infrastructure (street/water/sewer) to support it.
  9. I knew a guy named Harold Dyck. He went by "Harry".
  10. The Grand Forks Townhouse Hotel used to be right there.
  11. In the door as Associate (not assistant) Head Coach. Wonder if Jackson may be retiring in a few years.
  12. Didn't there used to be a civic center and a hotel there along with GF Central?
  13. < words here about being clutch, not choking >
  14. So what is the "right size" stadium for those schools you mention.
  15. I'm going to say the quiet part out loud: You see fewer and fewer students at college sporting events when you look closely. That's a trend everywhere.
  16. That's EPIC's thing ...
  17. Now I see it claimed again, but not from the player's Twitter.
  18. Commitment? That says "offer". Tom know something we don't?
  19. Chipman -> WIH Fennell -> his kid played for Sparty if that matters My guess is @iramurphy has been in a room with each in the last twelve months.
  20. I believe there's money out there for football from football alumni and other potential donors. Why isn't it coming in? Nobody asked them? On-field performance? Coaching staff? Already earmarking it for other things? (Now I am sad I couldn't make the alumni event in Fargo a couple weeks ago; wonder what they were asking for at that one.) I do not believe in cutting something successful on the hope that'll make something else successful.
  21. And I'm still trying to figure out how someone can have such vitriol against a sport that works for UND. Duke is hoop; Johns Hopkins is lax; Oral Roberts is baseball, UND is hockey. Que sera, sera, or should they all refocus on football?
  22. Quoting myself: " ... big benefactor ... " And it's not just hockey but certain people as well. Backpack or wheeled bag to carry that anti-anything-hockey grudge around?
