The news wasn't so good for Camrose as McWilliam was taken out by a really nasty hit from behind. See the very end of the article, hopefully he will recover quickly.

Heh...."Too Bad" Don Adam wasn't officiating. That hit from behind probably would have been a two minute minor.

Derek Shepherd might not even have called a penalty unless MacWilliam left on a stretcher... In which case it would be about 60/40 no-call.

any news on mcwilliam? sounded bad. hope it isn't life or career threatening. wish him a speedy recovery so he can wear a sioux sweater next season.

He was in the lineup last night and ended the game with a one sided fight. :silly: Bad news is that his team lost 3-0 and there will be a game 7 in Camrose for the AJHL championship. If Camrose does win and advance to the next level there could be some real fireworks between him and Hextall.

Kristo with zero points in a 5-4 loss to Sweeden. They play Finland on Friday. Also, the Doyle Cup between Hextall and MacWilliam starts on Friday. It's a different format, the first two games are at Camrose, and if there is a sweep in the first two games, then the next five games are in Penticton, but if there is a split then Camrose is granted a third home game, and the last four are in Penticton. In the USHL playoffs, Lincoln swept there first round series with Gregoire leading at 5 points. Indiana is down 2-1 in their series, and they play on Friday. Blood has 3 points in 3 games so far, and Fienhage has zero in 2 games. Waterloo plays tonight and they have 2-0 lead, so a win tonight would sweep their series. Fink has only played in one game and has zero points.
