Considering how much the NC$$ makes off licensing, I'm not sure why the name/logo would be an issue for a legitimate card. That said, maybe we should start bidding in .01 increments. :D:lol:

Yeah, why would they not be able to put the logo on the jersey? Also, notice it says "North Dakota Sioux". Did they take the "Fighting" out on purpose, just like the logo?

i have a few jt cards, they cant use the sioux logo or any other college logo/jerseys due to him being in college and so forth, has nothing to do with the ncaa...just how cards are and the law..jt signed 10 of those exact cards for me in denver, he even took 1 for himself and brother as he had never seen them before :lol:

I dont know if this is in any other thread, but ill post it anyway. Chicago just signed Evan Brophey to a three year deal. i dont know if this decreases toews chances of signing or not but its something to think about. Here is the LINK

that seems like good news to me. i dont see how it could be "bad" news.

I look it at like this, it probably wouldn't affect whether or not Toews signs, but rather this guy may have signed BECAUSE Toews decided not to sign. Toews is definitely their top prospect, so they wouldn't take a lower guy and then have Toews worry that he wouldn't get playing time because of that.

Hope that made sense....long day at work.

Or, Chicago realizes that none of the top UFA's they are targeting will sign with them so they are going with a youth movement.

I asked Ek who his source is and he wouldn't give it up... but said "it's 150%".

I know this isn't what you guys want to hear, but I REALLY want to see Oshie in a Blues jersey next year so hopefully this changes his mind.

It isn't going to happen. Oshie from what I have heard was coming back reguardless.

As of yesterday at work, the word was he was still undecided, and going to make a decision soon. Heard he contacted coach Hak, and talked about the future and his tourney play at Worlds. So as far as I know no news on JT signing, I am sure there would be buzz around the arena if he did sign......all i know...

I bid on this same card from this same seller last year. Notice the shipping and handling fee? I didn't mind as I got the card at the opening bid. The guy sent me a different card. Three times told me the right one was in the mail. Finally he told me to send the card back and he'd send me my 5 cents back! I'd have to eat the original s&h cost (he sent the card with a 37 cent stamp on it) and I'd have to send the card with 'signature' reguested' from him. A$$hole!!

He has not, however, made that decision. Hockeybuzz.com falsely reported today that he has signed, citing sources in Canada saying that it was a "done deal."

I got off the phone with Toews a little bit ago and he was surprised to hear about the report. After seeing it for himself he said, "Jeez, I can confirm that's not true."

Toews just returned home yesterday and will finally get his first real chance to go over the decision with his parents in the coming days. It has been a whirlwind for him since the final couple weeks of the season.

Unfortunately, many rumors get tossed around at this time of year. Many people dislike the use of anonymous sources because of accuracy issues. Well, in this instance, not only is the source anonymous... so is the reporter.
