sprig Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Webcast is fairly good. BU up 2-1 now in the second.
31-9 Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 As a BU student, I'm looking forward to a rematch of the '05 regional . . . maybe some revenge, there are a few guys on the team in particular I know are hoping for this match up tomorrow. As a Sioux fan, I say Dartmouth shouldn't pose a problem. Well, I hope anyway. Like the Sioux, their D is a problem, decimated by injury, but they may get Lovejoy back for the tourney and that may spark them. I'd expect them to play Devine in goal, though he was particularly sieve-like in their last loss to Harvard. Sioux have the Oshie, and thus I give them the edge . . . Any ideas who's b/w the pipes for the Sioux?
NDFAN Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Let's just hope DH puts someone in net! It's nice to see a game thread again!

31-9 Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 LoveJoy, oh my God, I wonder if he gets any crap for his name? Well he's got team mates named Glass and Swallow(s) . . . who knows

Any ideas who's b/w the pipes for the Sioux? Ah yes, The Oshie. Something tells me The Oshie is rather weary of losing so much. I would expect big things from him this second half of the year.
Goon Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 (edited) SLU has tied it up 2-2 so maybe we shouldn't count the chickens before they are hatched. Please tell me Bob Norton is doing tonight's game between DC and UND? Edited December 29, 2006 by Goon
Goon Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Now BU comes right back and score. BU 3-2 over SLU right now.
Goon Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 (edited) SLU scores and it is now 3-3. The player for SLU just scored a hat trick, only had one before today. I didn't catch his name though. Pretty good game. Edited December 29, 2006 by Goon
HockeyMom Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Ah yes, The Oshie. Something tells me The Oshie is rather weary of losing so much. I would expect big things from him this second half of the year. The Oshie! Let's Go Sioux!!!!
Fetch Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 I'm thinking Lammy in net - But it could be time to give Grieco a full game
sprig Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 BU 3 SLU 3, 5 min OT coming up, then a shootout if noone scores.
jimdahl Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 I was just flipping channels and saw something named "CN8", which I'd honestly never noticed before. Apparently, I get the games on tv. Cool.
Shawn-O Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 BU 3 SLU 3, 5 min OT coming up, then a shootout if noone scores. For PWR, that would go in the books as a tie, right?
31-9 Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 For PWR, that would go in the books as a tie, right? That is correct . . . last thing BU needed was another freaking tie. Trust me, BU fans are just as frustrated as Sioux fans . . . so I'm really freaking frustrated.

dallassiouxfan Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Penalty shot in the BU game and he scores. SL wins
Goon Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 SLU scores on a penatly shot, the BU defenseman knocked the net off and the ref called a penatly shot, maybe the refs in our league should review the rules.
sprig Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 According to the announcers, this goes in the books as a SLU win. Would have been a tie if they needed to go to a shootout.
31-9 Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 and he scores. SL wins Well, at least we didn't tie again Better luck to you guys . . . Go Sioux
