JESUS,family, rutgers Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 What are your favorite sports to play in the Summer in North Dakota? How about as a spectator? Quote
BleedGrn Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Fishing, golfing, and barbecuing (is that a sport?) How about beer drinking? Quote
bigmrg74 Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Fishing, golfing, and barbecuing (is that a sport?) How about beer drinking? You should be smacked for even thinking that BBQing isn't a sport. And for beer drinking, have you ever heard of a little game called Beer Pong my friend? Quote
PCM Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 You should be smacked for even thinking that BBQing isn't a sport. Hey, I really work up a sweat pulling the BBQ grill out of the garage. It's tough with a beer in one hand. Quote
govikes27 Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Golf and fishing are my favs, although there's nothing like watching a good baseball game. Quote
bincitysioux Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Water-skiing is the best summer-time sport to participate in. Legion baseball and the F-M Redhawks (independent pro baseball team) are pretty big in North Dakota. Quote

SiouxPride0303 Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 I like fishing though I don't get to do it very often. Quote
BisonMav Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 With the Masters viewing on the agenda for the weekend, I would say Golf Quote
bigmrg74 Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Hey, I really work up a sweat pulling the BBQ grill out of the garage. It's tough with a beer in one hand. Damn strait it is. Not to mention working the flame, getting the coals nice and hot, and attending to the meat. Quote
bigmrg74 Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Frolf! hmmm...... I'm not sure what that is. Is it something you do or say after drinking way too much beer perhaps?? Quote

Goon Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Hey, I really work up a sweat pulling the BBQ grill out of the garage. It's tough with a beer in one hand. I would suggest installing a beer opener on your grill. Quote
LuvHockey Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 My son plays hockey about 10 months of the year. He also plays soccer about 8 months a year. Notice the intersect? While walleye fishing USED to be my favorite summer sport, now it is travel to soccer/hockey all summer long and watching skilled kids grow in those sports. Would not trade it for anything. Quote

Legion baseball and the F-M Redhawks (independent pro baseball team) are pretty big in North Dakota. Kill most my time spare time on the golf course but the considering the price for a round of golf maybe I should invest in a boat and some skies, sounds like a good time. Plus the boat would pay for itself if I could put away the clubs which just seem to make me mad anyways. Quote
stafford_rules Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 What are your favorite sports to play in the Summer in North Dakota? How about as a spectator? watching old Sioux hockey games. (it helps me get through the summer) Quote
andtheHomeoftheSIOUX!! Posted May 5, 2006 Posted May 5, 2006 I like to do lots of things but especially sailing and motocycle riding. I also love to watch Formula One racing! Quote
HockeyMom Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 My drinking team has a softball problem. I spend one or two nights a week playing slowpitch with the girls, and a few weekends playing co-ed tournies at Red Willow. I refuse to grow up. Quote
Goon Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 I would have to say remodeling the various golf course around the area with my really bad game. Sprint Car races on Friday night at River Cities Speedway. Quote
