Sioux_Hab-it Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 This is really sweet. Oshie makes it 3-0 Sioux. Quote
southpaw Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Another goal there would have been sweet. In other scores, MSUM leads UW, 5-3! feel free to say that 1st sentence a lot... seems to have worked this time. Quote

brianvf Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 feel free to say that 1st sentence a lot... seems to have worked this time. I might have to save some of them for tomorrow night. Hopefully the Sioux can keep this up for the next 2 periods. They are getting lots of chances here. Quote
NDFAN Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Sounds like the DU fans don't like this much... Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted February 25, 2006 Author Posted February 25, 2006 Can't really complain too much about the 1st period. 3-0 lead is better than most games we've played this year. The Sioux did give up a few too many odd man rushes, and JPar had to bail them out of those situations. Fabian being thrown out was a bunk call, as he hit the DU player on the side. Anderson boned that call majorly! Keep it up in the 2nd boys! Quote
redwing77 Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 3-0 after 1. Fabian's penalty was BS, but otherwise, a pretty darn good. Quote
dakotadan Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Great first period. Now we just can't get too comfortable and let up. Quote
GBpakrzz Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 3-0 after the 1st. Wow... what more can a guy ask for? Don't answer that.... Quote
CAFFEINE Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 End of the 1st period. 3-0 Sioux. Very physical game so far. Quote

southpaw Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 score updates around the country: CC 4 - UMD 0: 10 minutes left in the 3rd MSUM 5 - Wisco 3: mankato with five straight goals to take the lead into the start of the 3rd SCSU 5 - Tech 1: six minutes left in the third Mich 3 - Ferris 3: final, i think this will help the sioux's rpi WMU 5 - UNO 5: final/ot... western mich scored 3 goals in the last 7 minutes to tie it up Quote
WCHA_Fan Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Great first period. Now we just can't get too comfortable and let up. Put the nail in the coffin.....Good period Sioux! Quote

sprig Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Fabian being thrown out was a bunk call, as he hit the DU player on the side. Anderson boned that call majorly! Keep it up in the 2nd boys! Terrible call, but a perfect example of how DU (as well as others) are taking advantage of the Punko rule. Purposely turned his back at the last instant to create a CFB "look". Anderson must have thought he screwed up to give DU 2 penalties during the 5 minute. Had to be a game misconduct, Fabian didn't get a DQ, like someone said earlier, did he? Quote
