Huge…hockey’s path was so great because it gave late bloomers a chance. I’m fine with removing 25 year olds and guys who’ve already played pro, but cutting kids’ path at 22 (in some cases) was a bit aggressive. Especially for those kids who’ve already started HS and will graduate prior to 18. 1 1 Quote
atxsioux Posted June 7 Posted June 7 Happy that it will keep some kids in high school longer in MN to play in the state tourney. Should be similar to now where the decent players jump after JR/SR year to juniors. Would’ve likely been after sophomore year if the previous rule had passed Quote

cberkas Posted June 9 Author Posted June 9 The finalists for Harvard "Top 10 job" 🤔 Not sure who thinks this is a "top 10 job" outside of Bucci and Colby and the voices in their heads. Top 20 or 25 job is more like it. Minnesota wasn't even a "top 10 job with who they hired and had as finalists Quote

My understanding is that Harvard is known for underpaying employees given the high cost of living in the Boston area, but this particular position is endowed, so that may be less of an issue. Quote
Godsmack Posted June 11 Posted June 11 Last I Google checked, Harvard had the largest endowment in the world at over $55 billion. Quote

Yeah we don't need MSU picking up someone like Mathis Preston at this stage. Speaking of...has anyone heard if he plans to return to the Dub for another year? Haven't heard much on him possibly going NCAA or not. Quote

Didn’t watch him play in Fargo at all but based on his stat line this year was curious if he would actually go to MSU for 2026. Preston seems like a slim possibility but I don’t think this is new news behind the scenes so my guess is he knew this already when he decided to back to the WHL for one more year Quote
