Yeah I don’t doubt any of that. I just meant I don’t think he has enough of a track record to really say how good of a coach he is yet. You know, as opposed to someone like Hastings or Carle who we know for certain are great strategists and talent developers. This year should tell us a lot given the incredible amount of talent he’s assembled

I think Cripps might be a priority (like Carels was this year) based on the potential D needs for next year with only Klimpke likely being ready. Based on the timing of us likely have 1/2 top pair spots on the right side I think our odds are pretty good to land him.

Alot of the other options are likely going to be full on the right side (MSU, Denver, Michigan too assuming Dupont plays 2 years of college) Even if Dupont leaves we just beat out Michigan for Keaton last spring so I feel good about us beating them again in a recruiting battle.

I imagine Cripps will be our top priority as well. Guessing it will largely be a UND vs Denver battle. 
 

I had thought we had the inside track on England for a long time, but now I’m a little less sure. Schloss says our ‘27 forward class is full, but would we really turn away someone like England if he’s interested? I doubt it. Not sure what to make of that situation.

Who would be some other D names to keep an eye on for next year? Really the only other option on Schloss' list is Aden Bouchard.

Maybe Boston Tait? He's a lefty though, and our real need will be on the right side. Alternatively, I could see the coaching staff opting for the portal if we miss out on Cripps

Too many Brock's.    Cripps, England, Schultz.  Ha.

I still think we'll lose 1-2 forwards to the portal after this upcoming season.  That's a lot of talented forwards on this roster, and a few of them might be getting less playing time than what they hoped for...opens the door for a couple high end commits.

You're likely right but currently I don't see many that jump out looking through the lineup... (obviously as you go through a season things change)

Ashton Schlutz seems like a minor risk being an original Berry recruit. 

Even looking through the D core I don't see any glaring flight risks

Piggybacking off the World Junior Canadian invite summer roster from another thread, I wonder if Brek Liske could be an option? 2nd rounder playing in Everett and from Manitoba?

If they can perform like several other Brock’s like Boeser, Nelson and even Faber, I would be fine with a few more Brock’s.
