Tyler MacKenzie to Western Michigan

Dang that kid played 4.5 seasons in the WHL.
Should do well for WMU as an overage FR that put up solid points in juniors.

Anyone have any information on Freddie Schneider? I believe he just followed Bryn on instagram. He does not follow any other accounts related to college hockey teams.

Would be colossal…but I had really good info he was headed to a rival of ours. That was a while ago though. Bryn also taught Freddie at BA…so they know each other well.

Projected 1st rounder in 2026, Notre Dame really going hard after Ontario guys. Huge huge commit for the other UND

He’ll work his way up this year. He’s always been a top 3 kid…grew a ton and I believe he’s figuring out his body again.

Just as we've seen Michigan State have a full revival over the past 2-3 years, Penn State emerge over the past 6 months, we're now seeing Notre Dame re-emerge over the past couple months since Brock Sheahan has taken over. Fighting Irish will likely be a big time player in more recruiting battles going forward

When do we get some

Would expect to have to wait some time to get another high ender out of the CHL. Chyzyk and Jackson have been quite intentional/picky with their roster building, and with many 2009s on official visits right now, we'll have to be patient.

Wish NCAA Hockey recruiting was covered like football and we'd be informed of the players who've been offered, who is in guys' top 3 or 4, etc. It was quite cool seeing the report that Carter Casey had a top 4 of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Denver, and North Dakota, so then it made it easier to follow the recruitment.
