To be fair he's giving us almost daily updates and has only 90 minutes of field activity to source it. He's also doing regular feature stories on players. We are damn lucky to have him otherwise it would be all content from the Forum.

Oh I'm not totally complaining. I get it, the material is limited, I'm just anxious for actual football to start so there is more to pay attention to. Same for the 360 guys ... only so much to talk about and interview for, but i'm always anxious to hear more.

miller has an agenda...kelly and the boys are maybe too close to the program.....what this team needs is the dakota student to hire @Und Princess to be a full football reporter and really tell it like it is....?!

I agree!!! But unfortunately I am not in school. And I think you have to be in school to work for Dakota student. But I am interested in helping write and share the football news with everyone as it comes!!!!

Comparisons of Simon and Tommy are fairly ridiculous.. One was an above average to significantly above average FCS QB.  
 

If you think that comment refers to Simon there is likely a strong overlap to family/friends in the Calvin/Langdon area.   All of this deserves the qualifying comment yet again that QB was about 15th on the list of the things wrong with the team last year. 
 

I expect the QB position and the management of said position to be significantly improved over last year.  I believe that fruechte learned a ton last year and I have significant doubts that the narrative of bubba forcing freuchte to play an injured romfo over a healthy Jerry is anywhere close to accurate.

yes the qb wasn't the most glaring weakness last year but you have to admit that the QB is the #1 most important position in football...just look south.

I did and was very intoxicated by the 2 half sitting in a bar in devils lake. Funny enough wad sitting next to Simon's neighbor from back home so couldn't be to pissed off. It was hard to watch.

I'm not saying you're wrong ... but I will point out that your key image is one play in a kid's first collegiate start against on the road and against a BIG12 team. Again, not disputing concerns over Simon, just pointing out that your "go to" example may have more factors than simply what he is and is not capable of. That being said, I know there were other misses throughout the year. Often it seemed he was just short and throwing awkwardly to get it over the line. 

I don't know ... I'm not QB expert, but I would be more intrigued by some of the other QBs in the room. That being said, I'm not a coach, I'm not watching them every day and I haven't bike past a practice.

i was sober in queen creek and my buddy who played football at wyoming when the mwc was THE mwc and he couldn't believe simon was our starting qb....couldn't believe this was the best qb we could start...(didn't tell him about feeney quitting)
