cberkas Posted yesterday at 03:49 AM Author Posted yesterday at 03:49 AM The NPI just makes no sense when you see a team blow .500 ranked above a team above .500 Michigan Tech at #18 with a 21-10-3 record getting that ASU treatment from last year that NPI was supposed to fix. Quote

Is that Wisconsin rule still in place that teams under .500 can't get picked by the committee for an at large bid? Quote

The UCHC (independents) are seeding using the NPI. LIU is in first and Lindenwood (the only independent over .500) is second. Quote
jk Posted yesterday at 04:44 AM Posted yesterday at 04:44 AM Denver had fallen to the bubble with a six-game winless streak after their Friday loss in GF. After winning that Saturday, they lost their next game to SC, and haven't lost since. Back to NPI 8, and given their coach and recent history, they've gotta be considered a serious threat in the conference and nationally. Unfortunately. 1 Quote

AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Two bowl series coming up next weekend. The NCHC Toilet Bowl between UNO and ASU, and the B1G Perv Bowl between Sandusky State and THE Epstein State University. Quote
ND_Texan Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago You heard it here first. I predict Duluth escapes Miami this coming weekend with one win/one loss. Then Duluth (#4) plays Miami (#5) again in the first round of the playoffs and gets knocked out. These three losses to Miami eliminate Duluth from a National playoff birth. After watching Miami this last weekend, they've got just the kind of team (tenacious checking, outstanding goaltending and just enough offense) to bottle up the Plante line and take them down. 1 Quote
jk Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Curious lack of goals in Mankato this weekend, with Mankato winning 1-0 Friday and BSU winning 1-0 in OT Saturday. MSU scored one goal and got four points. The beavs were shut out for six periods and got two points. Quote
