Blackheart Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Well, for the first time in a long time I tuned in late for the Sioux game and only watched for about 10 minutes. Seeing how UND was playing I decided to watch the Moorhead-Stillwater 2A final instead. I think I made the right choice. No home playoffs and it's not looking like that Fargo regional will have any home flavor to it. Maybe they should have focussed on the Penrose more; at least then we would have had a shot at the NCAA's. Quote

How about earning home ice for the conference quarterfinals? Apparently that's a stretch now as well. Quote
Godsmack Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago This morning, we went back and watched the third period of the CC/DU game we’d recorded and my wife looked up some stats and commented that UND and CC were one and two in the league in penalties. I didn’t realize that UND had taken that many penalties until she read off the stats. That’s gotta be contributing factor to where UND (and CC for that matter) ended up in the standings where they did. Quote

The penalties certainly were a factor when you consider how horrible the penalty kill was all season. 1 Quote
