Fedorov Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 He can't be Bourque, cause little Chris never got a sniff of the Frozen Four <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What do college hockey players want to sniff the most? That could be a poll question. Quote
siouxtatoo42 Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 What do college hockey players want to sniff the most? That could be a poll question. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> they like the smell of warm apple pie..... is the homemade or like mcdonalds?? Quote
Marty Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 Eddie Belfour can't be Doug Flutie because he didn't do two things that Flutie did. First, Belfour didn't make the greatest play in college hockey--Flutie's hail mary. Secondly, Belfour didn't win the Hobey--Flutie won the Heisman. Quote

Fedorov Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 But Belfour did offer a security guard a million dollars to let him go. Plus, Belfour made a clip saying that he hoped UND would open up a can of whoop a$$ on the Gophers. Quote
dakotadan Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 I'm glad I didn't ever even think of going to NDSU! I wonder if they are still watchin to see if their softball team makes the ESPN ticker!?!?! I love the Sioux! Quote
farce poobah Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 Grand Forks is east of Denver. We should get some homerisms. I love how Barry Melrose gave the game to the Sioux before it was even played. Quote

I love the Sioux! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Did they beat the Division 1A powerhouse South Dakota School for the Blind? Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 Heck, Belfour has looked that way since he left the Sioux, and given his build and style many doubted he would star in the NHL. You just never know with goalies as many of them have played some of their best hockey into their Forties. Johnny Bower did it with Toronto in the sixties and helped them win a Stanley Cup. If their joints and reflexes hold up they can play alot longer than the skaters. Quote
#1siouxfan22 Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 Every 15 min they had a glimse of him laughin or cheering it was good to get a little air time for the good guys! Quote

LB#11 Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 WOW-HOW COOL WAS THAT? Eddie might not be Doug Flutie, but how fired up did you get when Eddie Belfour is pumping his fist after a great save on Smaggard. Personal opinion but that save was the difference in the game. Quote

Smoggy Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 Eddie hasn't changed in years. He looks the same as 10 years ago. Eddie is here at the team's hotel drinking in the bar with everyone. He's been taking pictures with people and signing autographs. Quote
