yepdude Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 Missed the top ten and heard the goal was amazing, does anyone have a link or not. I looked for 10 minutes, but alas I grew tired of seeing soccer shootouts and people trying to reach goals. Quote
redwing77 Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 wow!!! just saw it at gpl. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wow is right. However, it's what I call a "freak" play. No way in hell would that be able to occur in an actual game. Quote

schmidtdoggydog Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 Does anyone have a link of spirkos goal? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't, but I just watched part of that game again, and the goal was very sweet, or as Wooger said, "glorious!" Quote

Sioux_Hab-it Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 The hot dog is Rob Hisey of the Barrie Colts in the Ontario Major Junior League. I recall that he was originally drafted by Dallas but I seem to recall that his rights may belong to San Jose. Apparently he has an ego and attitude to go with his interesting skills which may help explain why he is being carried by Barrie as one of their overage entitlements rather than earning a paycheck in the AHL. ESPNInsider Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 I have the goal and sent it to BigGreyAnt to host not sure if he is planningn on it though Quote
ethanm Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 I've posted the goal online. I had to zip it as Yahoo doesn't like the .wmv file format. http://www.geocities.com/grovers50/spirko.zip Quote

BigGreyAnt41 Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 I have the goal and sent it to BigGreyAnt to host not sure if he is planningn on it though <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, I was sent the video, but didn't know what it was from or when it was from. And I didn't want to start a new thread to say "here's a neat goal but I don't know what it's about." Anyway, it seems it's already up on a website so I won't need to host it. But if somebody wants to send me Spirko's goal, I would love to see it, and I could host that one for people to see. Quote

I think it was a San Jose player, maybe Cheechoo? Quote

hockeyguy Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Does anyone out there happen to have a video clip of Peter Forsberg's 1994 goal medal game shoot-out goal? I've heard it's a pretty sweet goal but have never seen it myself Quote

yepdude Posted March 26, 2005 Author Posted March 26, 2005 Still one of my favorite goals is in an allstar game when Owen Nolan "called his shot" and then buried it. Anyone have that goal? Quote
PCM Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 I almost scored a nice goal during an intramural game at SDSU in 1975. Anyone got a clip of that? Quote

PCM Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Lint hockey... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It was either that or kick the paper football through the finger goalposts. I forget. Quote
