Yet I’m supposed to believe that the conference is down and last years 4 loss champion would run through the league easily. We need to make podcast equipment much more expensive 1 Quote

SiouxFan100 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Omaha wins again. Stands alone at the top. What do we know? Quote
HoopsFan03 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Very interesting data here. There are a couple numbers that immediately jump out to me. 1 Quote

sioux24/7 Posted January 28 Author Posted January 28 At what point does the redshirt freshman class start to get some run (beyond Kraft)? I guess I’m not even sure where they would fit in but at some point you should see if you have anything. Maybe it’s obvious we don’t though. Quote

Yet another parallel to the football team. poor recruiting, no depth, no defense. 1 Quote

Sad that the only two people from that class to provide any minutes are a walk on and a guy that signed in August. 1 Quote

When Sather signed those two Century guys early in the year, I thought that was a big mistake and waste of scholarships. Then they played in the state tournament and it was confirmed. Another Sather mistake in recruiting. 3 Quote

Then he takes two AND gives them both a scholarship (not walk on's) 3 Quote
GoodGood Posted Thursday at 02:04 PM Posted Thursday at 02:04 PM USD beat Omaha last night. Not sure if it’s Omaha coming back to reality or just Vermillion has been a tough place to play this year. Hopefully we can pull our own upset this weekend Quote
GoodGood Posted Friday at 05:41 PM Posted Friday at 05:41 PM KC with an all time choke job last night against Denver. Drops them to 2-6 in conference play. Reminder they finished 2nd last year and returned their entire starting lineup. But media heads are saying last years SDSU team would run thru the conference this year undefeated. SMH 2 Quote

CMSioux Posted Sunday at 12:11 AM Posted Sunday at 12:11 AM Had the same problem in football, every year there was one game that saved him - until it didn't happen. Individual talent seems to be our problem year after year. Quote
GoodGood Posted Sunday at 12:33 AM Posted Sunday at 12:33 AM We got a scheduling break as we had a week to prepare for sdsu. Got 4 very winnable games coming up and then a week off before playing ndsu. Can’t ask for a much more of a favorable setup 1 Quote

sioux24/7 Posted Monday at 02:52 PM Author Posted Monday at 02:52 PM 7 games left, what’s everyone’s prediction on how we close this thing out? KenPom has us going 2-5 beating ORU and Denver. Besides your prediction, what does Sather have to do the rest of the way and in the tournament to warrant an extension? I don’t know if this warrants it but I could see finishing 4-3 in this stretch and then winning 1 game in the SLT and Chaves extends him. Whether you agree with that or not is one thing but Chaves cannot lame duck Sather. Either move on or extend. Quote

UND always lets their coaches get at least 8-10 to show they cannot win. 6 Quote

I think a minimum for an extension would be go 5-2 and win 2 games in the SLT. At the end of the day he’s still a coach that’s won roughly 33% of his games in 6 years 3 Quote
gfhockey Posted Monday at 03:36 PM Posted Monday at 03:36 PM How long was he extended for last year Quote
