I though Miami was very aggressive on the forecheck throughout the game; they weren't going to give UND an inch out there.  I'm sure we'll see more of that tonight.

It appears to be the book on UND: through tight marking and physical play with pressure by taking away time and space thus affecting decisions, errant pases, and creating frustration.  We saw last night UND frustration especially when confronted.  UND can clean their clock physically but it distracts from movement down ice.

Isn't this the game plan of every team that plays hockey?

It is, and that's why it's often not effective against teams with superior speed, skills, and experience.

No.  If the marking is to tight and the tight marking team gets beat, it can lead to a fast transition by the team being marked up and the marking team will have players out of position.  A tight marking team can also run the risk of getting calls for interference, roughing, etc.
