cberkas Posted November 8, 2025 Posted November 8, 2025 Not sure if it's being done in Grand Forks. A brewery (Huss Brewery Co.) in Tempe has made a beer for NIL purposes for ASU Athletics. Something the collective, school, and a local brewery could work on. Quote

SIOUXFAN97 Posted yesterday at 02:44 PM Posted yesterday at 02:44 PM heard a guy that normally and still does give to und athletics doesn't think that the 1883 collective is a "good deal"....thinks the fees for running it are a little out of whack or something... is the 1883 comparable to oher schools in the region and country? What fees are being taken out? Last I heard they were pretty minimal. Quote

SIOUXFAN97 Posted yesterday at 05:59 PM Posted yesterday at 05:59 PM am i reading it right that a little patch on u of wyoming's football team jerysey's, and both bball teams gets around 4.5 milly and that funds their NIL for football? Quote

Pretty sure they also charge any fees to the donor on top of the NIL to the player, so the player isn't taking a cut in what they get. It is somewhat semantics at that point, but the business is paying, not the player. Quote
