They all played for the same AAU organization, but I don't think they played on the same team. To my knowledge, A3 and Moore play the same position. This was from the UND press release last week: Quote Jayden Moore | 6-0 | Guard | Minneapolis, Minn. | Hopkins HS Has been on varsity since seventh grade… A four-star recruit and ranked the 95th best player in the country according to ESPN…Slated as the No. 1 player in the state of Minnesota and the 17th ranked point guard nationally on ESPN… The all-time leader in assists, points, rebounds and steals at Hopkins High School… Has the sixth most assists all-time in Minnesota state history… A three-time all-conference, all-metro and all-state selection… Two-time All-Metro selection as a football player…Played football his junior year for the first time since seventh grade and had 924 yards in nine games at wide receiver… Holds the all-time record for touchdowns in a game at Hopkins… Most recently played AAU with Team Herro on the EYBL Circuit…Played high school basketball with current UND guard Anthony Smith lll… Before playing with Team Herro, was AAU teammates with Smith lll, Micah Curtis and Marley Curtis on Team J-Sizzles… Plans to major in Business. I don't know Wes personally, but why would Chavez wait this long to renew? I can kind of buy into the idea that he didn't want to pull the plug last year with all the other coaching changes, but he is either going to renew, or not renew. Waiting only means there may be some contingent in his head, like possibly having a good year. OR... he has begun his search already. Quote

One thing I've learned about Chaves is never assume he's doing his homework ahead of time. 3 Quote

I agree that both of them (as well as A3) have a lot of growing to do. But that said, the coaches seem very high on them, so they will get ample opportunity to figure a few things out. Here is how it plays out: 1) UND finishes 7th-9th and possibly loses a play-in game (which I think is very probable) 2) Coach doesn't get a renewed contract - UND AD takes some time to get someone causes uncertainty 3) Several guys leave due to being out of eligibility 4) Several others leave to make more $$ 5) A few leave because they are not playing 6) Everyone in their circle has told them how great they are and it's someone else to blame for the losing, they could shine elsewhere 7) They will get offered more $ than UND will be able to give them to convince them to stay. Again - this is baseless, and has no factual info in it - just my opinion and prediction. Can’t forget about hiring an assistant on. 3 year contract. Thinking Sandovol as Stevens wouldn’t do that to an old friend Quote
