Given the size of their investment, maybe (maybe?) ESPN will start giving college hockey better quality coverage.

Not too excited about ESPN continuing hockey coverage but at least we won’t have Melrose to put up with.

However, they both have hockey programs.

Could this signify a shift within the Ivy League as a whole? Were those votes a show of support for the Ivy League to consolidate in other sports (i.e., hockey)?

We don't know.

This would be interesting to see if other non-hockey Ivy schools would be for the move.
