farce poobah Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 Interesting time to use the fake field goal ... Quote
Smoggy Posted November 20, 2004 Author Posted November 20, 2004 I think it's more so that other teams have something to be worried about. Practice makes perfect. Plus Glas is 0-2 and it is windy. Quote
U2Bad1 Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 Interesting time to use the fake field goal ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Luckily they did the fake, because glas is god awful today. Misses the extra point. Quote
U2Bad1 Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 0-2 , misses extra point, and kicks the ball out of bounds. YIKES. Quote
OETKB Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 Is the ball wet? Why is Glas struggling? Quote
farce poobah Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 Sioux ball under 2 minutes left, Quote
Goon Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 We aren't the only ones who like Scott....scroll down to the "Plusses and Minuses" section. INCH <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Here is one for you. UND and GVSU are not League Champs but both will be the only teams left in the Region. Maybe the ranking system is flawed. HUM, something to think about are we to believe that Northwood and WSU are as good of a team as UND or GVSU? Quote

They had the leagues best QB who was injured against GVSU. GVSU is a very unpredictable team. They have the best potential of all the GLIAC teams. It will be a battle next week at the Alerus. If any team can beat UND at Alerus it is GVSU. It will be a great game. Quote
farce poobah Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 Woo-hoo! 20-3 final. As happy as I am for Lennon and the Sioux, I have to admire the Tech comeback from "the program nearly getting flushed down the toilet" as their announcers so graphically describe, to national title contenders, is a good thing for football in this part of the world. Tip of the cap to Michigan Tech. Quote
Cratter Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 I predicted (or at least said that they should go for) the fake field goal. It was a replay of the playoffs a couple years ago when they faked it at the Alerus. It was a perfect situation 4th and 3(?) Glas was having a bad day, and it was to close to punt. Quote

U2Bad1 Posted November 20, 2004 Posted November 20, 2004 So what injuries are part of the game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just ask UND that. THey have played 'whose turn is it to get injured at QB' all year. Quote
