Let'sGoHawks! Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 If I lived there, I'd be tailgating right now. Then I'd go inside and while watching the game, enjoy a beer for the first time at a Sioux football game! I bought the game on Dataflix, I hope it doesn't dissapoint. I wonder...do they feed the Sioux radio broadcast with the video? Quote
Smoggy Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 I believe they do. Has anyone got the radio working yet? Quote
U2Bad1 Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 When i try to connect to the online broadcast it says the server is too busy?? Quote
Smoggy Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 The pre game should be going now, but I just keep getting a message that Windows Media can't find the server or the name is incorrect, or the server is busy. I hope that someone realizes that it's not working in a real hurry. I've been looking forward to listening to this game for some time. Quote
terbele Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 Well, obviously no one worked to improve the quality of Dataflix over the summer as it is already buffering out 1/2 hr before the game. Unbelievablr!!!! Quote
sprig Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 Well, obviously no one worked to improve the quality of Dataflix over the summer as it is already buffering out 1/2 hr before the game. Unbelievablr!!!! You're right, the rebuffering is awful. Can't even listen to the audio pregame. And the audio only link has been down all day; doesn't look promising. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted August 28, 2004 Author Posted August 28, 2004 My dataflix feed is working....in short bursts! If this is what it is like the whole game, I will never get a Dataflix broadcast again! What a joke! Quote
Smoggy Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 Does anyone know who we can email as far as the radio goes? Quote
sprig Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 Does anyone know who we can email as far as the radio goes? Best help comes from contacts at undalumni.org. Generally when this happens someone forgot to turn on a server at the university. cindyf@undalumni.org Quote
U2Bad1 Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 Yeah, you can pretty much kiss the radio broadcastgoodbye. By the way, who is doing play by play this year??? Quote
BigGame Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 I am listening to the Delta State Broadcast go to www.gostatesmen.com and click the teamline link Quote
star2city Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 The Delta State radio connection is working (at no cost): http://www.teamline.cc/teampages.php?teamcode=3873 Quote

BigGame Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 The Delta Broadcast is funny, because it reminds me of listening to a high school game. Quote
BigGame Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 What did the Delta player do to get ejected? They don't just eject people for no reason. Quote
BigGame Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 If anyone has dataflix, is Delta really playing dirty or are the officials that bad? Quote
Hansel Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 What did the Delta player do to get ejected? They don't just eject people for no reason. I think he may have hit a punt returner during a fair catch- these Delta St announcers don't seem to care for the officiating UND 14 Delta 3 Quote
U2Bad1 Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 I have no clue. Delta st's announcers were not happy, but they seem pretty stoic about everything. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted August 28, 2004 Author Posted August 28, 2004 Hard to tell what is going on...and I'm "watching" the game on dataflix. I can't believe what a rip off this service is. You'd think they would have it worked out by now. Sioux are playing well except for the two turnovers. Quote
Smoggy Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 It doesn't even seem like they are too sure as to who got kicked out. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted August 28, 2004 Author Posted August 28, 2004 21-3 Sioux. Tony Stein says the Delta State players don't know what's going on, and the Sioux are making it look easy. He also mentioned he didn't want to sound insensitive or mean. Quote
BigGame Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 Sioux lead 21-3 Either Delta isn't as good as advertised or UND is better. Sounds like the Oline is ripping delta's Dline and LB's up Quote
