I have seen it where a goal wasn't called and play continued for a good long time. At the next whistle it was reviewed to be a goal, so everything that happened in the time between the goal and the eventual whistle got nullified. The clock was reset, and play continued from the time the goal was actually scored.But once the puck drops again, nothing can be done about anything.
