Teeder11 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 ISU goes up 7-0 quickly on the Griz. ISU is starting a red shirt QB... he looks pretty good. But it's Xavier Finney that is doing the damage. Quote
Teeder11 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 PSU creeping back in this one... 28-25 UNC with 9 minutes to go. Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Plus, if UNC wins out they'll be 7-4 and have an outside chance for the playoffs, although it would be a big longshot, as they don't have a very impressive resume. They don't have a chance really. They wouldn't have 7 DI wins. Quote
Teeder11 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Griz tie it up with a long run by Nguen. Griz get a break with a fumble call that was overturned to extend the drive. 7-7. Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Portland State looking to take the lead at the end against Northern Colorado.Northern Colorado has played well in Greeley this season, but on the road they have been suspect.UND certainly shouldn't overlook UNC, but with an extra week to prepare and heal up, I expect UND to win by at least 14 points against UNC. Teeder11 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Barney took a page out of Bubba's playbook earlier in this game with the naked boot run for a first down. It was the exact play Keaton used to put a cap on our game against PSU. Quote
Teeder11 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) Should we be cheering for PSU?That's the conventional wisdom. Makes our resume look even better. Edited November 7, 2015 by Teeder11 Quote
Teeder11 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 PSU now leads 32-28 with about 5 and change to go in the game. Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 And Portland State is up now.Northern Colorado looking susceptible to the inside running game....Excited to see UND's two-headed running attack of Santiago and Olivera against UNC..... Quote
Dagger Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I agree that is better for us to have PSU win. I wasn't sure what everyone else thought. Quote
Teeder11 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Now UNC driving... nice catch with PI tacked on at the end. Quote
Teeder11 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 UNC is stopped on fourth down. PSU should be able to milk some clock here. Quote
Teeder11 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) PSU tried the same play again that Studsrud ran to close out the UND-PSU game last month. Didn't work this time. Edited November 7, 2015 by Teeder11 Quote
Teeder11 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 And UNC drives the length of the field to score with 28 seconds to go! WOW! Quote
Teeder11 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 UNC wins! They are coming here feeling awfully good about themselves. Did you hear that, #51! Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Well, UNC beats #10 Portland State 35 - 32.Two 5-4 teams will face off next weekend in the Alerus Center. Northern Colorado and North Dakota are the only two teams to have defeated Portland State this season.Northern Colorado will come into the Alerus with plenty of confidence. Considering how big the game is for UND, people need to come out and support UND football! Quote
Teeder11 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) UNC color guy says "Thank the Lord, Baby Jesus!" as he thinks the station had cut away already. LOL! Edited November 7, 2015 by Teeder11 1 Quote
Teeder11 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 UM now up on ISU 21-7 in the second quarter. Quote
geaux_sioux Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Maybe UNC winning will make out resume stronger with more than three good wins if we beat them since theyll have a decent record. Quote
Wildfan Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 UNC color guy says "Thanks the Lord, Baby Jesus!" as he thinks the station had cut away already. LOL!was this on eversport? Do they normally cut away correctly? I remember on years prior where the Web cast never cut away and you could hear everything they said even tho TV watchers/radio listeners couldn't as they had ads Quote
UND92,96 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 UNC--pretty good at home; pretty bad on the road. I'm guessing the pattern will continue next week. Quote
Teeder11 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) was this on eversport? Do they normally cut away correctly? I remember on years prior where the Web cast never cut away and you could hear everything they said even tho TV watchers/radio listeners couldn't as they had adsDuring the PSU-UND game, they hardly cut away and could be heard saying some pretty comical things about UND's football team (based on past years' performances in the Big Sky), until it was certain they were going to lose, and then they couldn't shut up about how "bad" of a loss it was for them. This game-- UNC-PSU-- was better as far as the play-by-play/color coverage went, there was only one or two instances where the mic was left hot. Edited November 7, 2015 by Teeder11 Quote
Teeder11 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 ISU score... close in on the Griz to make it 21-13 Griz lead with a minutes to go in the first half.... PAT was no good. Quote
