CoteauRinkRat
looked to be good on the replay
sprig
Lots of indecision on the goal; still no call made. Occurred right at the buzzer. TH is right here; Schmidt signaled a goal, but changed his mind. Very strange, since there is no replay review.

Shawn-O
3rd game in a row with a waved off goal. They disallowed it because it was "kicked in", yes?

redwing77
The clock was at zero! In other words Randy said "It was a goal but I LOVE the Kohl Center. GO BADGERS!"
Cratter
The ref said time ran out, after first calling it a goal. Thank god for replays.

CoteauRinkRat
I give up, they must have said it was kicked in
Smoggy
It was in time. The puck did hit Parise's skate, but he was being checked.
CoteauRinkRat
any thoughts on the first period?
sprig
There are no replay reviews. Initial call is supposed to stand, but it didn't
sprig
Shots 13-5 Sioux. They played a good period, but the only two good chances were the Murray breakaway and no goal at the buzzer.
CoteauRinkRat
so when are these calls going to start going our way, or are they ever?
redwing77
UND 1-0 after one. Official correction: Score 0-0. This game is lopsided. This game is turning into last year's UMD series reffed by Schmitt.
PCM
so when are these calls going to start going our way, or are they ever? Hey, Bruce McLeod wants parity. The Badgers have to finish higher in the league.
Carl Spackler
Sorry if this was posted earlier....but did anyone catch the "high stick" last night. Good call or bad call? Could this be two goals taken away from Sioux by Shidt?
PCM
Sorry if this was posted earlier....but did anyone catch the "high stick" last night. Good call or bad call? At the time I saw it, I thought it was a bad call. But others on USCHO who saw it said it was a good call. I guess the Sioux players didn't protest it at all. sioux fan in phoenix
Milewski 1st intermission guest: 4th sellout at Kohl Center since it opened in '98. Thought ND should have taken the play to Wisconsin more in the 1st. Says Bruckler on his game tonight**thinks ND "has the potential to put some rings on their fingers this year"**thinks Brandt will be able to shake last night off**other major leagues don't have the depth of the WCHA**says it's a 12-month job for players to be good in the WCHA these days... No real eye-opening remarks from him.
sprig
Sioux need to continue the first period effort and they will win.
