Yeah you're not friendly with us.

He certainly is not.

That writer said they were friendly drunks. Perhaps he isn't a true fan of the University of Agriculture and Applied Science.

He must be a poser.

One thing's for sure.

NDSU is a lot closer to the average of FBS than UND is to the average of FCS.

Fixed your post...this is more reasonable.

The "elite" is the SEC, Pac 12, ACC and Big 12. Zero chance NDSU would be a top half team in any of those leagues playing their conference schedules on a weekly basis.

Now UND would be a look to be top half of the MIAC this year though.

I think that is very reasonable.

Being an considered an average FBS football team while working with the restrictions of an FCS program is quite and accomplishment.

Was it the writer that said that or was it the writer that wrote what someone else said?

That sounds like something that a sullen teenager would say when they're proven wrong. It must not be fun when the folks at SiouxSports know more about your school than you do. And tSic is right, it does seem to sum up the approach of the NDSUAAS football team and its' fans toward the laws of North Dakota. As long as the NDSUAAS football team wins, the rest just doesn't matter.

Since the official line is that the dance team is no longer part of the athletic department, so they can't represent the athletic department (but some club like the Gold Star Band hypocritically can represent the department), Bison fans can use it to their advantage. Move the women's basketball and volleyball to club status, and they no longer can represent NDSU. It would save a ton of grief and embarrassment. Lynn Dorn would surely approve.

I'm sure they'd do it right after your fb team moves.

Still no response to this Dan? Why the sudden change of heart by the Athletic Department?

Quite the turnaround by the athletic department in less than a weeks time and less than 2 weeks before the first home game, specifically citing something that happened in January among other things even though there had been multiple communications since then. I mean, haven't these girls been through enough, now they are being drug through the mud in the media....?
