bincitysioux Posted October 6, 2013 Author Posted October 6, 2013 Some interesting results today including Cal Poly, UC Davis, and Southern Illinois. The UNI-FU game was excellent. Surprised the way MSU rolled NAU considering NAU did the same to the Griz last week. Quote
WYOBISONMAN Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 NDSU is very beatable. Especially when the offense is a little sloppy, add a few penalties and a turnover or two. That's why the games are played. Any one of a number of teams could win the title this year. It was unfortunate that UNI Coach Farley's son broke his leg. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 SDSU is and has been overrated from day 1. Brock Jensen is not a great FCS QB but he is flat out a winner. He wills NDSU to W's. Quote

Risky Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Even Jeremy Jorgenson (one of the Bison media people) was commenting on the large number of students that left the Bison game at halftime. I guess students leave whether you are good or bad or whether you are in Fargo or Grand Forks. I can't quite figure that out. Quote

I guess students leave whether you are good or bad or whether you are in Fargo or Grand Forks. I can't quite figure that out. It's a generational thing. Pathetic on their part. This is an issue at highschools too. Participation is way down everywhere and it seems like student fans are more interested in checking some obscure celebrities twitter than being apart of one of the best parts of the college experience. Also of note: students at UND please stop the stupid slapping of the seats on 3rd down and other times when you're trying to be loud. It's awkward and not as loud as jumping around cheering and just going crazy like you do at hockey games. Quote
nodak651 Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 You realize students can both slap their seats AND yell, right? Quote
geaux_sioux Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 You realize students can both slap their seats AND yell, right? Not really. Otherwise they probably would. It looks dumb and awkward to see student slapping the chairs and craning their necks to watch the play. Quote
