siouxweet
they actually look like the team to beat to win the whole thing. they will win the whole thing. hawks can't hang with them and neither team in the east will last past 5. start talk of a kings dynasty. siouxweet
Iceberg! Dead ahead! Board the lifeboats! Abandon ship! let's see. the Kings are dominating in every aspect of this series:offense, defense, goaltending, special teams and they seem to want it more. the stat that tells it all. with like four minutes left in the third last night the Kings were outshooting the Hawks 13-2. they wree up by one but playing with desperation like they were down by one. it doesn't help when Kane, Sharp and Hossa are non existent this series. if they lose tomorrow it will be abandon ship. Goon
This series is far from over. The Blackhawks have face a lot of adversity the last four years.

You're kidding me, right? The Blackhawks were in complete control of game 2 until they got lazy in the 3rd and it all went to hell in a handbasket. Did you push the panic button this soon last year when the Red Wings were up 2 games to 1? Or did you wait until Detroit was up 3 games to 1? Completely agree however it is so tough to win back to back cups. The seasons are so long. Hopefully the hawks can sneak one out tomorrow and then take the first game back in Chi. The way they have been losing leads is somewhat odd though.

Sorry, but mediocre teams don't extend last year's Blackhawks to OT in game 7. If Filppula doesn't go down courtesy of a Blackhawk slew-foot, Detroit wins that series, and quite possibly the Stanley Cup.

MafiaMan
really? Um...yea. Detroit was down 3-2 to Anaheim in the quarterfinals and won the last two games, including game 7 in Anaheim to advance to the conference semi-finals. You see, had they held on to beat Chicago, they would have been in the Western Conference Finals. Hardly far-fetched to think they could have won that series and made the Stanley Cup Finals. They were a #7 seed, big deal. We all know seeds mean little in the NHL playoffs. See also: Kings, Los Angeles.
Goon
Just for the record, I thought that Detroit was going to be a team on the rise this past season because of their play last season.
scpa0305
This doesn't look like the hawks. Kings are capitalizing on every chance. Q might have to consider pulling Crawford. 3 goals on 4 shots.

scpa0305
Patrick Kane is playing like this is some Olympic bronze medal throw-away series... True...other than the first shift I never noticed him. Crawford's numbers look about as bad as a goalie's numbers can look the past 3 games, however, it has been the guys in front of him letting him down.
