Teeder11 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Bradley with a 1-point victory tonight 66-65 over S.E. Missouri State of the Ohio Valley Conference. Next up: UND! Let's get ready, boys! Quote
Teeder11 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Interesting tidbit: UND is 0-11 vs. Bradley all-time. However, the two teams have not met head-to-head since 1969. Before that they played fairly regularly, with the first meeting played in 1941. Source: Last year's media guide. Time to start a new trend! Quote
fetch9 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Really not sure what to make of this one. Bradley is better than we are but if we play well I think we can win. Quote
sioux24/7 Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Just would like to say that Bradley was interested in Josh Gentry. Quote
NODAK13 Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Bradley is 3-0 but they have played a division III school and a DII school so its hard to know how good they are. Anyway its our first road game and everything is alot different when you go on the road for the first time. I predict a 10pt win for UND. Go Sioux Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Sioux Men's BB on webcast, Sioux hockey at Bemidji on the tube, gonna be a great end to this already great day in UND sports! Quote
Cratter Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Football and Volleyball win the Great West. Great day to be a Sioux fan. Lets end the day with a basketball and hockey win. Sioux tied at 18. Quote
Cratter Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 47-47 anyone else listening. Come on sioux fans. Massey gave us 16% to win this game. Either way good showing by the Sioux. Lets get out and support our Sioux at home vs Montana. Sioux lead 49-48! Quote
Cratter Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 It's all "huff this and huff that." He seems to be everywhere. But its a team game. 7:05 left 55-54 bradley. Quote
Cratter Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 bradley pulling away. two minutes left up ten. Quote
Cratter Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Give the Sioux a conference and a postseason bid and this team will be pretty darn good. Thank god for the Betty. Lets start a fund-raising campaign to get video boards in the betty. Quote
Cratter Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Bradley pulls away in the final minutes as teams with "more depth" usually do. The Sioux were resilient, down by nine at halftime, and eventually taking the lead, but in the end. The Sioux lose by nine:78-69 I can't wait til Wednesday. Montana at the Betty on National TV(FCS). MoSiouxFan Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 The bench is usually makes significant contributions, but last night they were only 2 for 18 from the field. Quote
NODAK13 Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Poor shooting and some terrible defense. I dont know how many lay ups they made but it was alot when they blew by our guards. They hung tough as always and fought hard. Quote
sioux2013 Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Tough road loss. Shots were definately not falling for us but these players will be fine. Good experience as it sounded like a big crowd for the first road game. Several players need to find their shooting touches and we will be fine, its still early. Quote
the green team Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I agree, I never like to lose. But I take away the fact that despite some lapses we showed the ability to get back in the game a number of times- and make a go of it. It's tough to win on the road. No matter who and where you play. I think despite our deficiencies, I think they can all be corrected and improved upon. It's one loss, on the road and it pointed out areas where we need to do better. If we use it as a positive teaching and learning opportunity- I believe we will become a better team. Let's just get better, that's my philosophy with this team from one game to the next- if we do, we'll have a very good team by the end of the season. Quote

This year should be about improving in the areas that need improvement and continue to build for next year. Next year is truly what counts and this will more than likely be our team for the next several years heading into the Big Sky. These players have a way of fighting to the end no matter the circumstance, I really like that. Quote
UND92,96 Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Will be interesting to see how Bradley does tonight on a neutral court against Wisconsin. It can be seen on the Big 10 network. Quote
Ole in MSP Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Will be interesting to see how Bradley does tonight on a neutral court against Wisconsin. It can be seen on the Big 10 network. For what it is worth, UW trampled Bradley by 24. Quote
sioux24/7 Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 I just saw Huff got a technical in this game and Bradley had a couple. Anybody know what happened here? Quote
