gfhockey Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Even tho Jakes the local boy, hes gotta sit we could have goska for an extra year as hes a sophomore i believe! Quote

darell1976 Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Why onside it??? we are getting smoked why let them run up the score with good field posotion! They won't run up the score they are not Omaha. Quote
siouxfan512 Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 So how did this team hang with Texas Tech??? Quote
gfhockey Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 kneeing for us lol that is sad i hope they would have ran it in Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 They won't run up the score they are not Omaha. Or will they? Guess not. Big play, but not gonna put the points on the board. Credit them for that. Quote
Shawn-O Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Players like Weston, Chappel, and Murray as well as an experienced OL made this program appear much better than it was in the last few D2 years. The defense hasn't been good for some time. Just the fact that UND needed JC transfers for OL and LB show how much a deficit position Mussman was in. Getting a JC transfer for skill positions like WR, RB, or even at the DL would be normal. Needing JC transfers for OL and LB shows there was a desperate need: Lennon left with the cupboard bare. Perhaps. Not sure if we're that outmanned or if the team mailed it in today. Quote
star2city Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 So how did this team hang with Texas Tech??? 3 INT's by UND Own turnovers and incapability to move the ball in the red zone killed Sioux chances in this game. Quote
darell1976 Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 If Landry starts we lose, if Goska starts we have a chance. Quote
gfhockey Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 come on muss... no sugar coating..... bench jake... we know jake didnt play well u dont gotta tell us he said our D played great?!?!?!?! Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 come on muss... no sugar coating..... bench jake... we know jake didnt play well u dont gotta tell us he said our D played great?!?!?!?! The defense can only do so much. You can't expect them to keep points off the board if they only get three plays off every 10 mintues. The offense needs to do something to give the defense some rest. The defense hasn't been good for some time. Those teams didn't appear better, they were better. UND is in it's third transition year, and has been targeting "DI" players for 3+ years. Yet we have one of the smallest O-Lines in the division and below average linebackers for a program that has been known in the region as "Linebacker U". Quote

the green team Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Geeze are we really going to start with the have to start the back up quarterback crap. Honestly, there are more problems here than just the qb- besides except at the end of that drive all the 2's were out there defensively against us. I guess people are right when people say the back up quarterback is the most popular player on the team. There are too many issues to even start with qb. Quote
Shawn-O Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Bear in mind that SUU was a disaster area two years ago, so the situation is fixable. Quote
gfhockey Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 i think bergs a better coach then a color guy haha Quote

Landry is horrible and INT's against Sioux Falls killed the Sioux then UND can't score in the red zone plus 23 points in 2 games not going to win it when the opponents score 28 and 35. Landry needs to be benched. Quote
gfhockey Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 lol bergs blaming it on the young kids... its the 7th game of the season.... should be adjusted now and not rookies Quote
darell1976 Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 i think bergs a better coach then a color guy haha Thats not saying much he sucked as a coach at least when i went to Central. Quote
Shawn-O Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Poly will find the fast track at the Alerus to their liking, I think. Quote
