dallassiouxfan
I am pretty sure that he didn't leave Dallas. He is still on the Stars web site as the Associate Coach working mainly with defensemen. According to hockeydb.com he has been with Dallas since 93-94. He's still in Dallas. AZSIOUX
hf future calder poll http://www.hockeysfuture.com/articles/9968...ll_october2007/ Jonathan Toews, C Chicago Blackhawks (1st Round, 2006) A smooth and powerful skater, Toews checks in at 6'2, 195 pounds, which is plenty big enough to handle the physical rigors on the NHL. A proven scorer in the NCAA and at the international junior level, Toews leads a crop of youngsters being looked upon to breathe excitement and consistency into a hockey market tired of a losing team. A broken finger kept Toews out of the first two regular season games. Projected as a second line centre at the outset, he will see ice time on the power play and penalty-killing units. If Toews, a Winnipeg, Manitoba native, can become an efficient offensive producer and maintain his durability, his presence should serve to elevate the performance of other young prospects in Chicago, like Patrick Kane, Jack Skille and Cam Barker. FlyinSioux
just read that. nice so hes in the UK in the Elite League. Good for Mike!! I heard an interesting story about Mike last week. And it is from a reliable source (a mom of another player i know that played with him). He was invited to training camp for, i forget who, i believe the ducks, and he was on his way there. While crossing the boarder, a border agent found a pay stub in his vehicle. As he is from Canada, he is not allowed to work in the U.S. I guess it went quite far, and he is not allowed in the U.S. for 5 years. Hence he is playing overseas. Sounded kinda fishy to me, but what i've checked, it's checked out.

He played for the Scorpions for a season, in the U.S. I know he worked in GF this past summer. Bizzare..... I'm just happy he's playing hockey. redwing77
In a spout of homerism.... Prpich may not be a scorer. He may not be flashy. But I thought his good year last year would have put him in a hockey league overseas that is better than the UK system. I thought if he couldn't make the Swedish or Finnish Leagues, at least he could make the DEL (German league) or something. I don't think Cardiff will put him in a better position imo.... Tough luck for Mike.

How is that tough luck, I mean if you are referring to the passport thing(who knows if its true or not) than ya tough luck but to say tough luck that he is playing hockey somewhere and getting paid to play, i dont see the down side to that and i am sure a lot of hockey players would love to get paid to play hockey...even if it is in Cardiff! p.s. have u ever seen a EIHL game? Goon
Don't you guys know Redwing knows everything?? Question, How come the B's just don't send Bochenski down to the AHL if they are not going to dress him? He might only have a one way contract, I believe he is to be paid 600,000.00 this season. Nice pay check for not doing too much. I read that basically that Milan Lucic is probably holding the spot in the line up that Bochenski could be playing in. Personally I think Bochenski gives the Bruins more options than Lucic who is nothing more than a Goon in my opinion, Lucic was supposed to go back to his junior team but ended up staying with the team... If I was Bochenski I would request a trade a to a team that is in need of offense, There are teams out there that would probably use him. The wrap on Bo is that he can't play defense.
