Trunk Monkey Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I don't get the changes that are being made at this time of the year. Kozek on the 3rd, no Radke, Marto at forward...This is the time of year to rely on the consistency that you have generated during the year. Perhaps the injuries that have hit the Sioux is causing some of this but I don't believe in changing things up this late in the year. That being said, I trust in Hak and I would guess that he knows a little bit more than I do. Go Sioux - light it up in the 2nd. Quote
gopherz Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Did that goal have a 2nd assist or was it just Oshie from Duncan? If so, thank you AZSIOUX, put me in the mix. If not, that 2nd assist shouldn't count because from what I saw of the replay it was all Duncan and Oshie. Quote

BigGreyAnt41 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 OSHIE!!!!! Huge One-Timer! Oshie from Bina and Chorney! Quote
PersianGulfSioux Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 OSHIE!!!! 2-1 Sioux, before a guy can crack a beer for the 2nd period. Quote
Siouxfan_inDenver Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 That is how a period should start. 2nd for OSH. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I'm gonna make a call: Oshie gets a hat trick Quote
SiouxPride0303 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Woooooo!!! Et le But!!!!!! (Thats my husband yelling at me in French) OSHIE!!!!! Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Tech players push their own goalie into the net. That should be a goal for the sioux. EDIT: overhead view shows the puck does stay out. Quote

Also why would he pit Marto in as forward ahead of Radke or Davidson or even Forney. If that's the case maybe they chould give davidson a chance at defence as he CAN play there Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Gopher player down on the ice. I didn't see what happened. Check from Behind on Mavericks. Wiley gets tossed. I don't know who is down, haven't seen him move (neither have Woog and Mazzako), but he is talking. Tom Pohl is the player down on the ice. Quote
AussieSiouxFan Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 If there is any player to step it up in BIG games and BIG situations its Oshie, he is a great player and will lead by example, and hopefully the rest will follow. Go Sioux!!!!! Keep it rolling Quote

greatest sioux fan Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I'm by no means a gopher fan, but I hope he's o.k. He wasn't moving, but they said he was talking, and is now rolled over on his back. BTW, does anybody know who it is? Quote

BTW, does anybody know who it is? You don't have to be a fan of a team to hope it's players don't get hurt. The player is Tom Pohl. They're not even replaying the hit, which, to me, says something about the severity of it. Quote
UMDDogz Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Prayin for him...always hate to see these kids get hurt, especially what would appear to be a serious injury. His helmet came flying off and he fell pretty limply to the ice. Quote
gopherz Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Buddy said it happened RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. He gets elbowed ot the back of the head and his neck just SNAPPED back. Apparently the hit was much worse in person than it looked on TV. Friend right next to the ice said he hasn't even flinched yet but he can hear him talking, says he's sayin somethin about his neck (obviously) but can't really hear. Lots and lots of concern down there. Quote
