Big A HG Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 Cmon, Big A HG, Aaron Rogers is still better than Jackson, Grossman, and Kitna! I'm actually excited in a way to see what Aaron does, but I'll never get over Favre being gone. Quote

mikeypat15 Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 One of the best days of the year, Sioux are playing (can't make it ) but leaving right now for the hawks game in Chicago. Got my sioux hat on and ready to go for a Toews hat trick, and will make sure to take a ton of pictures. Don't worry I have someone giving me updates on both the Sioux and CC game so I'll stay in the loop. Also, not golf course weather, but its better than 5 degrees, too bad I'll be back Sunday Have fun tonight guys and cheer loud so we scare the Tigers in Colorado. Quote

keikla Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 Back on topic...#1 key to the game tonight for the Sioux: STAY OUT OF THE BOX Obviously we'll have the occassional penalty, but need to eliminate any unnecessary ones. SCSU power play is deadly Quote

Siouxdonyms Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Hakstol's pre-game comments: You know, you play 28 games total and we have 26 in the books and not much decided, and maybe that's how it's suppose to be. It's been so tight. You look at the national polls, and if it were to end today, there would be 8 WCHA teams in the national tournament. That tells you how good our league is. We just have to go do our job. We'll wake up tomorrow and check out other things. All we can do is control our own destiny. The guys show up and work all the way through the 2nd half. We just need to continue to do that. It doesn't matter what you're playing for, it may be only pride, but you should show up and play hard for that. You never know what you'll get. There's a good amount of goal scoring on both sides here, but both teams have played well defensively, and that's something we need to continue to do, especially against this team. They can get up and move. It's a great opportunity for some guys to step in. Miller has wanted a chance to step in, so this is his opportunity. Marto gets an opportunity too. We lose a lot of jump without Genoway, and we don't want Marto to try to do too much, just play his game. This is a team that will get it's opportunities, and as a penalty kill unit, we need to limit those opportunities. We need to stay out of the box as much as possible too. We need to play hard for our seniors this weekend. Quote
Sundog Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Does anyone know the satelite coordinates for the game tonight? I haven't been able to use my satellite for the last few series and I think there was some sort of change since then. Quote
