sprig
Hakstol didn't say to cross check some guy (who has never hit anyone in his career) with his back turned after the final horn of the weekend. You want to go after someone do it the typical Sioux way, not some chicken___ hit on a guy not looking. Anderson c-checked Oshie in the head off the draw, Zajac c-checked Anderson. Guess that must have been Anderson's first career hit, and, like a true Gopher, he did it after the final horn.

sagard
So what have you got to say about that a$$hole Peltier punching out Trupp with him on the ice?? Sadly didn't see much of the game. Knowing Peltier I'm guessing he didn't land a single shot.
Stromer
Wood claiming he never saw the after whistle antics coming. Come on Woog, your great but you have seen these teams play before!
Brainerd Sioux
It would be fun to see the Sioux KICK THE SH*T out of the goofers in the playoffs but the goofs are not going to be there. They suck ass.

You want to go after someone do it the typical Sioux way, not some chicken___ hit on a guy not looking. But it's ok to cross check someone in the head from the back. Kinda goes both ways. By the way I'm sure your proud of your guy Peltier for punching a little guy while he's on the ice.

Sioux-cia
Sadly didn't see much of the game. Knowing Peltier I'm guessing he didn't land a single shot. Picture this, Peltier on top of Trupp punching him in the head. Malone goes in, Adams grabs him by the face mask and them throws malone in to the box face first. 808287
What happens to Hak for flippin the bird? I was wonderin' that myself...interesting to see that on FSN. I've said it before, and I'll say it again...there are no easy games in the WCHA. Gophers played "up" to the Sioux...who played just well enough to not get beat. It was nice to see them step up and move right past Duncan's penalty, but hard to watch them not finish their checks and move the puck up ice. So close to four points...I could smell it at times. And yet...3 from the John isn't a wasted trip down to MSP...we'll take 'em and get ready for DU.
WiSioux
Anyone else still listening to the radio? Did they just say someone was trying to pick a fight with Duncan in the elevator between the pressbox and locker room???
RedFrog
I thought that they couldn't call penalties after the refs leave the ice? They can change them to correct them, but I didn't think they could add them.

You'd expect it from your players, we expect it from ours. Woog even made the comment how that's what the Sioux do so well that the Gophers don't do. That's hockey. Gophers don't do any chicken hitting? I seem to remember Bickel hitting Big Joe in the side/back of the head when he was going after Wheeler. sprig
Sadly didn't see much of the game. Knowing Peltier I'm guessing he didn't land a single shot. He was sitting on top of him, and gave him a good shot to the head, much like Bruess on Kaip last season. Peltier should have been DQ'ed, certainly not a Goph PP instead. siouxnami
Darcy with the biggest punk move of the weekend and probably of the season. Then he hammers Lucia, but didn't realize it wasn't :(over. Lucia then slams him down and he has to live with being the first Sioux since Notermann to get beaten down by a Goph. Anderson has been nothing but an enormous bust. If he thinks he can get away with crosschecking our star at the end of the game he has another thing coming. Good for Darcy to stand up for Oshie. Sagard, watch the replay and see Anderson's cheap shot that starts it all.

They suck ass. yes they will, every team gets in for best 2 of 3 series. and they still will be using we still have a chance BS unless the gophers drop to 10th which they may be on pace to with their rechid 1 point per weekend pace they are on maybe we will beat their ass at the ralph before going to the final 5. if not then they will go to cc or du and get their butts kicked. Guess that must have been Anderson's first career hit, and, like a true Gopher, he did it after the final horn. Your making this crap up. Anderson didn't crosscheck Oshie at all on that last draw. As usual Anderson gently bumps Oshie at the buzzer with his stick behind his back. The game was over. Then your guys drills him. Watch the replay. Gophers don't do any chicken hitting? Nope, Bickel looked real tough yapping at Finley at the end of the game, standing behind the coach. Also didn't he throw a punch at the back of Finley's head when he was tied up with Wheeler after the game. If we're looking at DQ's (and I don't think we are) then that should be considered. WiSioux
Wow... we were 41-27 on faceoffs??? I wouldn't have guessed we did that well... everyone I payed attention to we lost Three starts: #1 Lamoureux #2 Kangas #3 Oshie Denver got swept by Mankato Duluth and Wisconsin split

I'm not going say our guys were innocent, they are not. Your guy blindsided a guy #6 who actually let up on Oshie. Watch the replay.
