Would love to see minny get lit up. Denver loosing is better for us. What to do. My only real concern is that I don't want Denver to get the idea they know how to play hockey again coming into next week.

If strength of schedule was still in play the WCHA would have the top 10 spots. OK, maybe not the top 10, but a lot.

For those in the know - what needs to happen for the Sioux to flip the New Hampshire or Colorado College comparisons?

I know that most of us want minny to miss the NC$$s, but you have to chuckle thinking of how the NC$$ would absolutely be up in arms if they used Krach. According to Krach, as of tonight there are 7 WCHA teams legitimately in the tourney and St. Cloud and Mich Tech at 16 and 17. How much fun would it be to watch to see the NC$$ totally lose it having to put that many WCHA teams in the tourney.

That was fun while it lasted. Currently there are 6 WCHA teams in the top 14 and Minnesota is #16. Wild hockey year when a team struggling as much as minny can be ranked 16th in the country.

While I'm glad Miami lost, I'm disapointed they were able to get back in it towards the end of the game.

Time/score in Mich vs Miami?

Watching the Sabre/Bruin game and Stafford took a hit from Chara and almost had to crawl to the bench. Haven't seen him out there since. Hope it's not too bad. By the way, anybody know why they boo Chara in Boston. Did he use to play for them? I know he played for Ottowa.

Will be interesting to read Paula Weston's (USCHO CCHA writer) excuse for Miami on USCHO this week. She's absolutely in LOVE with Miami and is very defensive to anyone who might say they're overrated.

I don't have a really good reason, but I really want Michigan to pound Miami this weekend. Maybe it's because I think Miami is insanely overrated.

Was listening to the Blackhawks podcast and the host and assistant GM were discussing Brian Bickel who is on their AHL affiliate Rochester (the assistant GM wasn't very high on him-said he's inconsistant and doesn't work very hard ). Just curious if anyone knows if he's any relation to Stu Bickel.
