If the OL steps up and the defense plays good it should be a close game. The only difference from the spring is the defense is better and the OL is still learning. Hopefully they play up for the hype like they always do in the Alerus!

Shame on The Forum for promoting only the Bison broadcast of this game. It’s obviously clear which school they favor and I guess that means I will not spend a dime on a forum subscription…….

For being such a top program in all of college football their broadcast production is very embarrassing. It sounds like I’m listening to a bad radio announcer when listening to Izzy on WDAY…….

I remember that name well, forgot all about him and didn’t he play some NFL too. not saying ND never produces FBS talent I just couldn’t think of it being that often…..

Was that recent? I don’t recall those names but I don’t follow local sports much anymore unless they are being recruited by UND/ NdSU

I’m not a big fan of Entz either. He is going to pull a Nebraska and ignore the local talent while trying to recruit Florida and Texas guys while the locals go one to be big time players on other teams ……. One big one being NDSU. I think he is still riding the Bison success coattails. He is not the future for NDSU especially if they move up to the FBS. If he wants a job longer he needs to dump Roehl and his awful play calling.

I’m not surprised he didn’t pick UND with all of the offers he had. If it were me I would want to play for Blake Anderson at Utah State. Don’t know what it is but I like the guy and what he has done at Utah State. The one thing about highly touted ND FBS recruits is have many of them been successful on these FBS teams? Most seem like they transfer back to the FCS after awhile.

Yeah look at Belquist why would any WR not want the opportunity he has gotten to play as a true freshman and make an immediate impact! Hegerle is welcome to change his mind after Oct 2………

Honestly this game hinges on one simple thing………. Stopping the run! If UND can figure out how to stop/slow down the NdSU power run and get off the field this game will be a close one. We can compete if our offense is on the field. I sure hope we have figured out how to stop the run…..

Regardless of the rivalry, it’s a conference game, it matters……….. the games are good for the state of ND

Here is what the schools make in the G5: AAC- 7 million *pre-realignment MWC- 4 million MAC- 700k CUSA- 400k Sun Belt- 400k the MWC is near the top if not the top after the best AAC schools left. Why would any MWC school leave for another G5 conference????? Not going to happen . P5 or bust

They would add big sky teams to the MWC before going to the FCS……

I’ll believe it when I see it! If a Big 12 team goes undefeated with good non conference wins I don’t see them being left out of the playoff. Well at least if the NCAA holds off letting the SEC pay their players for the foreseeable future……….

Is the PAC-12 much better? The MWC has owned the PAC-12 this season in their non conference match ups. The Big 12 may not be the top P5 conference but they are much better than any of the G5 conferences and it’s not even close. Their tv deal may go down but they won’t be joining the G5………

Looks like the Alerus will be sold out for the Moo U game, I just hope all those tickets werent bought up by Moo U fans……….

SIU and USD may be even tougher games than the NDSU game……. The MVFC is no slouch this year!

Yeah you would think the Fargo Viewership would squash this match up. I’m sure media rights play into ESPN not picking up the NDSU/UND game

Depends where they recruit, hard to recruit players from the west to not play in the west. UND’s recruiting changed a lot when it was in the big sky

I don’t think the AAC is a step up for the MWC. Heck the MWC is the new P6 this year with all their wins over the P5. Air Force and CSU only leave for the Big 12, Boise and SDSU only leave for the PAC 12, 4 teams leaving leaves a gaping hole for Montana’s and the Dakotas
