Start loading up your High School Athletes with steroids and whatever else now to land that NIL deal!! Honest but sad point to make is high schools are not regulated and now look at the carrot in front of them.

I thought Red had a year of eligibility left.......??

Going to say FCS.

$1 million plus the other perks. Love this one!!

I just watched the Hudl of Kaminski, Feeney, and Tommy. At those equal points in time Kaminski had the strongest arm with a 50 yarder while kind of fading away and slightly across the body, Trey had the quickest release and throws the best across his body, but Tommy was slinging the ball everywhere including a 45 yarder in the air. Kaminski ran the best but Feeney does look longer than just an inch taller on the program at 6'3" (Trey)compared to 6'2"(Jerry). Again, it was surprising just how good Tommy looked coming out of High School. But watching the 4-5 years at UND he didn't put on the size and arm strength one would project from his Hudl. Goes to show in college what matters is development and your ceiling. I think it's a pretty even Feeney/Kaminski battle heading into 2024. I think Trey is 205 lbs and Jerry 200 lbs.........go to work Nate!! Tommy listed at 6' and 195 lbs and if you saw him he might not even be that big.

I don't know who was/is ready or who isn't ready but regardless of Tommy leaving or if he was coming back why don't we attempt to develop our QB position with game reps? This season there were times another option could/should have gotten the reigns. So now we are in a position of a starting QB with 15 snaps, 10 snaps, and 0 snaps.(estimating)

I know others are thinking it.............We have and have had lots and lots of WRs in our program that are overrated and/or don't produce jack squat. I mean the list would be pages long the past 10-15 seasons. We somehow treat the WR position like a bunch of sardines (safety in numbers). The preseason unstoppable Jets were pretty much Floppable. If Bo was paired with a real deep threat with a QB that could throw a deep ball he would be in his true roll, which would be a fantastic underneath complimentary type WR. There is only 1 ball per play for our 12 receivers. So I will put this on 3 things 1. Overrated - can't get open 2. QB can't make the throws to give them a chance 3. Dink-n-Dunk U in full effect. I heard players were begging for a 3 step drop game vrs Sac St, staff not taking any input, Ellidor pissed, that's about how it went.

I am assuming most/all these programs have NIL funds per position groups as a baseline, it's just sorting through the extra payments that is probably tricky. Are these guys getting agents? What a gong-show this is now.

No flipping way!!

I actually would have some interest in this Tournament!!

It's time(way past due) to put a caveat on the Pioneer League. League Champs with a final Top #25 Ranking, both criteria need to be met. This isn't March Madness where 1-2 key players and some hot shooting gives a BB team a legit chance. Just a way different animal with football. Drake #94 FCS ranked in Massey. #dangerous

Possibility and my guess.........UND will hand the reins to Danny and not open up the process, either this year or next. Thoughts?? Or, could be a fake process then hand the reins to Danny.
-
The WR screens, all 120 of them, were just setting up the deep balls that will come this week. It was all part of the plan.........

Really? Quality Losses are more confusing than I thought, then.
-
Drake 14 MVFC 125 (UND and SDSU) in 2 games I gotta go with being a Big Panthers fan this weekend because NDSU will have to go on the road at some point in playoffs. I know we are not going anywhere in the playoffs, so my silver lining is an NSDU loss.
-
Looking for our 3rd quality Win. NDSU, then I am going to count Northern AZ as a quality W. (Northern AZ beat Griz and Weber, 1 point loss to Sac St) We might have 1 in the dumpster dive term of Quality Losses with the Coyotes. All of our other losses are non-quality losses, or just sucked.
-
Nope, that's next Decade type stuff.
-
I thought we would thump Indiana St. but clearly we haven't recovered yet from the NDSU win, as odd as that sounds.

I think that's fair, checking into the right plays, reading RPOs, but......isn't that game management? I am wanting more, and believe we need more, from Tommy or next QB up. If the "more" hasn't come yet, will it?? Do we ride 7-4, 6-5 into next season and rinse, repeat?? What's the leash and trigger on the QB position at UND? This is ultimately what folks(experts ) are asking.

Fishing for a game the UND offense and Tommy were in a funk, down 10+ in the 2nd half, then caught fire and won based on Tommy's performance. I just don't recall that scenario but as you mention, UND vrs YSU 2 years. Otis broke a 43-yard run. GRAND FORKS. N.D. – North Dakota (4-5, 2-4 MVFC) trailed Youngstown State (2-6, 1-5 MVFC) by two scores with 10 minutes left in the game, but it was the Hawks picking up the 24-21 win after scoring 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter at the Alerus Center on Saturday afternoon. Tommy Schuster led the offense with 191 yards through the air and two TD passes, going 23-for-35 passing. Bo Belquist was the favorite target with nine grabs for 52 yards, including a nine-yard touchdown catch. Brock Boltmann was the next most productive receiver, hauling in five receptions for 69 yards. Garett Maag also had a touchdown grab to go with three receptions for 28 yards. Otis Weah led UND on the ground with 14 rushes for 90 yards, including the 43-yard game-winning touchdown run with 4:05 left in regulation to give the Hawks the victory. Isaiah Smith also spent time in the backfield and put up 30 yards on six carries. Last year NAU was just an effort by Bo, very fortunate in that one!! I was at that game and don't think that fits. Tommy's comeback record/scenarios are pretty shaky.
