Nice call Iceman, 27-10 for USD was the closest, even if it wasn't too close with a pinch of reverse psychology. Hats off to the Yotes. I actually enjoy watching them, just not when they are kicking our butt. They have a solid identity on offense, fast pace and good scheme, great QB, some decent RBs, workman like WRs that made plays, and lost their left tackle and didn't miss a beat on the O-line. They stacked the box on D and stuffed us pretty good when we were overly predictable and their corners challenged and handled our receivers. Their corners hold a lot but they have played like that for years. They had Keaton on the run quite a bit and covered well for extended periods of time. Overall, they beat us up pretty good and were gracious about it. Their fanbase had the correct read on the game, and us.......not so much. Great game Yotes.

I think we are searching for unicorns to dominate on the O-line to pound the rock with 8 and 9 in the box.

Year 1- don't have the horses on the O-line Years 2,3,4- don't have the horses on the O-line........ Ahhh, maybe run an offense that has an identity and doesn't require 3-4 All Americans on the O-line.

Attendance in general. With the excitement of the 1st game gone I think the opponent, Montana St. helps with our second home game. Expecting a big number again!!

I am not trying to force students to go to the game, just accepting the numbers. Take the emotion out of it, this is a step in how to fill the Alerus - 2,000 student seats and 2,000 tickets handed out. Of those 2,000 - 100+ don't show up, 100 stand in the end zone, 50 at Happy Harry's bar, and 50 sit with other family and friends. So, now we have 1,700 students sitting in the 2,000 student section and it's not full. So to Wi Sioux and DB Cooper, why not factor this in knowing we have general overflow in the catwalks?? And yes, I am saying hand out around 2,300 tickets for 2,000 seats. 13,500 I believe is the fire code rating of the Alerus. So if we happen to be over in the future they will only say 13,500.

I think it's been established the 2,000 student tickets are GA. UND allowed 1,000 more free tickets in reserved seating. Back to my original issue that needs to be addressed, a large number of student tickets didn't get scanned. For the 2,000 GA seats, should UND give out 2,100 or even 2,200 tickets for 2,000 seats factoring in a 10% "No show" rate knowing it was a lot higher than 10% game #1?
