Another item in which SU kicks our a$$ in. They magically get teams heading into their crappiest year in school history, more times than not, and we schedule a peaking Washington. Even Utah turned into a horrible match up the year we schedule them. In previous years they were run heavy, very vanilla, then in 1 year they grab Eastern' s OC, start a Florida high school player of the year at QB, and add Oregon's best wide out. All sucks!!

I hope the juice is worth the squeeze. We have some time to get better but we will see next year at Washington what a 60-10 trouncing feels like. I am not sold that this is best for UND Football. It's best for the budget, no doubt.

He was good. Only lineman that could push a defender consistently that year(what I was told). He played for Luke at a DII school, tore his peck and sat out that year, then became a DII grad transfer.

Our JUCO OL track record sucks. It's been Boas and 2 busts that I remember.

I wish I had my oversees betting account this open. 20 points was a pretty easy cover. Here is why - Wofford beat Furman by 1 point, Mercer by 1 point, Garrdner-Webb by 3 points, Citadal by 4 points, and Won 2 overtime games (Western Carolina and Chattanooga). They also had a win against Virginia Military Institute, who sucks. Lost to Samford and the Gamecocks took it easy on them. Wofford was 6-7 key plays from a .500 season. Their playoff win was against conference foe Furman, same crappy conference.

More so this year, 3 easy playoff games, than in previous years for SU. After the Dukes, Jacks, Bison.......we should be able to compete. To get to the top tier.....well, we better stick to day by day and be a perennial top 24, 1st.

After SU finishes off most of the tough teams in the MV, regular season, they wipe their brow knowing they have 3 pretty easy playoff games before Frisco. I heard the Fargo Dome and tailgating was down, their fans are getting sick of the blow-outs. I had 6 different invites but knew there was no chance they lose to an average team from a crappy conference.

This is where I am at, playoffs most years, like 4 of 5 years going forward or bust. After the top 2-3 teams in the Nation we should be able to compete and be in the top 24.

I think they can drop auto bids and/or place more emphasis on conference strength. Wofford sucked and their conference has sucked since Appt St. and Ga. Southern left. That was the 7th ranked team? What a joke. Youngstown St., not in the play-offs, obviously would have been a better game in a rematch compared to that horsecrap Wofford team. If the MVFC has 7-8 teams in the play-offs, then so be it, maybe they should.

I hope we quit wasting eligibility on young players, like Izzy. There is no good reason true freshman can't have a big year. Offensive complexity is not a good reason. Was it odd Stetson Carr had a career day on the last day of his career? Where was the back shoulder to Mercer in 2017, worked the year before? WR production was disappointing in 2017.

I knew it, but checked my sources anyway. Smoke a little smoke, so does SU drug test on it's own or was this playoff related? And, if you play, you get 1 game, but if you are a scrub, you're done. I will dig deeper to get these answers.

30-0 in the 1st quarter. 100-0 could have been the score. I don't doubt we justified this game cause SU did it, but that doesn't make it right. Joke game for us, even bigger joke for SU. Sources say 3-4,000 SU fans left at end of the game. My, oh my!!

So sad to see the season open with Miss Valley State, total joke of a game. And we paid over $200,000 for it, embarrassing. Throw in Idaho St. and Portland St., UND should almost be paying us to attend. Season tickets hinge on 2 games, Montana and Weber St, that's for sure. Miss Valley State Football was 2-9 this year with Wins against The University of Virginia (Lynchburg) and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. At 2-9, the Delta Devils decided to not renew the head coach. So much drama heading into this game, I can barely contain my excitement.

All scrubs. They are not perfect angels down south but they do a good job of keeping things inside the program, that's for sure.

You sound like a Bama fan. They might not get in the top 4, move on. Our situation isn't even comparable. If anything, UND is more like Auburn in that we have to beat the in state giant to get any respect. And we most likely will have to do it with more unheralded players.

And Auburn never hurts themselves in the innovation department, also a factor.
