I don't think much of any. 95+% of position change is coach driven, best guess. More likely, a player has to have the balls/enough belief to leave the program. The stories are cool like JJ Watt from his full ride TE spot at Central Michigan with 2 career receptions, to walk-on at Wisconsin emerging into All Big 10, to HOF caliber DE in the NFL. But for every JJ Watt position and team change there are probably 99 stories that didn't pan out.

Prior to having any skin/blood in the game I was vocal about our TE graveyard U. I voiced these concerns but was hopeful and optimistic this position group could/would/should evolve, but it didn't. It regressed during the year and was reduced to a 1 dimensional blocking position in less than 35% of the O snaps last 4-5 games. (estimating) Zavalney wasn't really a hand on the ground TE and a number of his early receptions were from a split position which Dennis seemed to gobble up when Dennis played more and Danny felt his 4 and 5 wide looks gave us the best chance to win. Most frustrating might have been VRS Weber St. witnessing Weber's 2 TE package beating the crap out of us while in less than ideal conditions we tried to spread them out. The only conclusion must be Danny feels his TE group is not talented enough to make them a bigger part of the offense. And, Danny doesn't see the need for a grind it out/bad weather/Playoff type O package. I think he's wrong on both accounts. I still like the guy, Danny!! So why do we carry so many TEs and could some play other positions?? (I don't have these answers)

His GPA isn't over a 3.90. Hard Pass.
-
Right, 2006 on.......more accurate. I lumped all the recent failures and overshadowed some good times.
-
I am not going to get over excited like I have the previous 23 seasons. It's too hard emotionally.......the let down.
-
He probably didn't have a high enough GPA. We are MVFC GPA Champs in case no one got the memo.
-
NDSU is the luckiest F'n team I have EVER seen!!
-
UIW has a 375 lb DT. Ours are 275..........

Get Stieggy some "Joose"!!!

I wasn't sure.......any recently retired guys want to head this up? I will be Treasurer.
-
Right!! Keep the studs we currently have for one more year is step 1!! I swear I would head this up but my plate is overflowing right now. This sounds like a job for a recently retired guy.

Yep. Tell us a player that we really want and funds are there. (not crazy funds but enough to sway) We could start with the portal players that are college ready/proven. Better players is the quickest fix to all of our problems. However other schools leak what players to pay, we need that leaker. Who's the leaker?? Unfortunately, we'll wait 4-5 years and watch other programs take advantage of this and then scratch our heads for a few more years......then get on board when it has no strategic advantage.

Right, dump it to 5'10" RB or 6'5" TE that rumor has it a few throw down dunks all day long in hoop games.
-
2 TE, play action, thanks for the lesson in playoff football Weber.
-
We should go more 5 wides. 4 wides isn't working.
-
How about our fun 'n gun offense? It's a 2 TE ground and pound play action type of game and we are built (or mostly play)for titty bumping with 4 and 5 wides.
-
Lots of man crushes on the Griz, I don't think that's healthy. Big stadium, Big bid, home playoff game, no amount of complaints changes that.......moving on.
-
Maybe we should wait until Sunday to bitch about Montana. They lost to Weber by 3. The Griz also took Sac State, #2 seed, to overtime while both NDSU and SDSU kicked our _ss.

Aikman calls it "The Dress" effect.

So many fans have left that my cell phone regained signal.

Is Stevens wearing a dress today?

6' 5" receiver in Red Zone on our Corner, not named Siegel. That's smart FB by them.

4 wides on 2nd and goal from the 3, really Danny?
