  1. As the trend of the tough yards continued in predictable situations I thought we'd start to see a little more play action last season.
  2. NDSU will probably lead the way, they usually do.
  3. I don't know about that. Jeremy Chinn was an all FCS offer type of guy wasn't he? That was pretty painful to lose him as a commit when he followed Marty back to So. Ill.
  4. Would UND Donors rather give $100,000 and be a small contributor to Phase II or pay 5 top recruits $20,000/each to see if we can win a National Title in the next few years?
  5. She looks like a good recruit, wide shoulders. Is she stuck in the portal?
  6. It's going to be funny when a crappy team buys their players and becomes relevant. UND should absolutely be securing commitments from local business to pay key players in key recruiting battles. Just start at $10,000 to $20,000 range and see what happens. We have a few years to capitalize and gain an advantage. Once everyone is doing this we'll just be playing catch-up with no competitive advantage.
  7. It makes sense if he lands in the Valley at Transfer State.
  8. My jaw is getting stiff just thinking about it.
  9. I put my money on frost bite. This area is hell to winter in.
  10. We need the Up Arrow, Down Arrow, scratch the Love symbol, add a LMAO symbol. Thoughts??
  11. It should be a Sioux Sports fund. Let's by a player!! I don't think it's tax deductible though. The player must make 1 post a year to be eligible.
  12. True story. At UND they used to have a Hamburger Hit award for a big hit. As part of the recognition a player was awarded a coupon for a free hamburger. It was against NCAA rules however and the coupon part of the recognition was ended. We couldn't gift a f'n hamburger now lineman at Texas get $150,000 per year. (Reading the tweets in the article) #bringbackthehamburger
  13. With or without your "life coach"? We went from Draconian lockdown to the Wild West. I think there is a balance between the two.
  14. At least it wasn't easy to turn your back on everything..........
  15. You 'prolly' get all you credits plus a wokeness credit, hot chocolate, and a coloring book.
  16. At this point, 1.) scratch traditional recruiting and development 2). go to Alumni and businesses for "likeness' funds 3). start bidding on players in the portal 4.) do this annually until things change 5). only commit to scholarships and "likeness" funds 1 year at a time
  17. Everyone enjoying the F'n Clown Show they made college football??
  18. 1. Because they are not professional athletes yet now college athletes can make anywhere from $0 to over $1 million. (More than some NFL players). 2. For many it is the 1st Contract they have signed. And now that Contract is meaningless. Employees and Coaches that don't honor their contracts can have very severe consequences. (Like monetary fines and non-compete clauses!!) This will fall in the category of "Ending Badly". Some structure and integrity needs to be inserted back into the equation.
  19. You are not sorry I feel this way. You simply have a woke superiority complex clouding your judgement. These new norms are bad for college athletics and people are beginning to not care anymore.
  20. My new normal is not giving a crap anymore. College football is being ruined right in front of us. Paying players, transfer portals, social justice crap, Covid protocols, can't hit anyone hard. It's a tragedy of piss poor leadership.
  21. Instead of the Quality Loss....if we had played Dixie State, won hopefully, would we be looking at a Win and In type scenario this Saturday?
  22. Smith's ankle bent in a way that looks like season over. On the replay it's either a severe sprain or possibly broke. After a coming out game I feel horrible for the kid.
